Taka and the rest of the band have been in the industry since 2017, that's 16 years. He knows what he's doing as a veteran singer. He also came from a musician family, both of his parents are well-known singers in Japan. His younger brother is also a lead singer for the band, My First Story.
You'll like this rabbit hole called One Ok Rock man! Once you are in, it will be hard to go out. hahahaha. There is a lot going on here. Live stuff are the most exciting thing you'll ever see from them.
These guy's grow so much the last years. I prefer when Taka sings Japanese. It sound so smooth. They make music for over 15 year together now and unfortunately I miss them this year in Berlin. Takahiro is one of my favorite vocalists. He did a few covers you might like as well, one for Adele's "Hello". I'm so happy to see you reacted to this song though. You might like watching their studio sessions in general just for passing the time. It's beautiful and raw.
You should really check out more from ONE OK ROCK, so that you can see everyone Taka can do. He actually sounds next better live. He'll give you Chester Bennington vibes. You end up connecting to him on such an emotional level for nearly every song. I've seen him actually sing without missing a bit while running, jumping and headbanging.
