@@TheVocalyst no u haven't , i've never seeing u doing reaction one ok rock live performance again after this one . that exactly it's been 1 year after this reaction. and u put more dimash in your list, is that guy is better i dont know. taka is not a singer in a suit who sit down or just only stand around on the stage who only perform singing performance in various oktaves. taka combs from edge to edge of the stage, he jumps,runs,spinning,headbanging as he enggage with the audiance and still have quality of his studio recording with his live performance. and in fact the amount of their live performance you see is just a snippset of their live concert for more than 2 hours you dont event know whish song was played after taka did something that drained his stamina and still gave an extraordinary performance, he not even have fals on his tone during the live performance still clear . he is unlike a famous singers from western who have songs played billions of time on spotify and have more than ten of millions listeners monthly but in live performance is f* sucks. just only emphasize on set of the stage to get hype of audiance and show off scantily clad and naughty and promote f*ng lgtbq

What I find amazing about Taka is, he's very technical and calculated but the emotion and intent in his voice feel sincere. Sometimes with a very technical singer, you can just tell when they deliberately show off their skills so it feels too much or strained, but with Taka it seems so effortless and unfabricated.

As a fellow opera/classical singer, I have to say that I agree 100%. Taka honestly has such a SOLID, CONSISTENT, FLEXIBLE, BEAUTIFUL, INTENTIONAL, and HEALTHY vocal technique, especially for the genre of the group which sometimes can be vocally damaging for a lot of singers. Taka has such control and mastery of his voice, he knows exactly what he's doing and the choices he is making, vocally and emotionally. Honestly, he is one of the best performers I have seen live, and trust me I've seen a lot of live performers, from classical, to rock to whatever genre you can imagine. As a singer and someone who teaches voice as well, it feels unfair to compare voices and techniques across genres, because style and sound and just the performance practices of each genre has a lot to do with it, so of course the approaches to technique might vary and people will have different opinions on whether or not it is sustainable or healthy, but bottom line is, phonation is phonation. Breathing is breathing. Muscles are muscles, and Taka has found the approach that has kept his voice sounding like this for like 10ish or so years, and it has only gotten better. I definitely think he is one of the best vocalists in this genre, and even across genres, period. Not to mention he is just a simply superb performer and front man, and the whole group has absolute mastery of their roles as well. I just love good music, and I love intention and commitment, and whenever they perform, it's like they are performing for the first and last time. I have seen them live like 4 times and it is just incredible to feel that energy. Anyways, I appreciate your thoughts and for giving One Ok Rock a listen, you have such lovely energy! I have heard that Japanese is characterized by smaller mouth movements, lower speech volume, and vocalization that is resonated through the nose compared to other languages. As a side note, his parents are very famous singers of Japanese traditional songs ( Enka ). His father and mother are both winners of the Grand Prix of the Japanese Song Awards. Taka's talent is a gift from his parents, but more than that, it is the fruit of his independence and hard work at the age of 16. We hope you will listen to his cover of Adele's "Hello" !!

I have followed One Ok Rock for a while now and was lucky enough to see them love and meet the band! They were all very kind and level headed, they even apologized they couldn’t speak English 😂 which didn’t matter in the slightest! Doesnt hurt his parents were enka japanese opera singers of i remember. His younger brother is in a band and sings aa well the bands name is our first story. Saw them live during the eye of the storm tour in California they were awesome he speaks English well hes shorter than me ans skinnier

Fun fact is that One OK Rock isn't really one "okay" rock but "one o'clock" (probably pronounce in japanese wan oku raku) since they usually meet up at 1PM for band practice back when they were just starting hence the name.
Yeah, that's the meaning. But they actually adopted the pronounce "ONE OKAY ROCK" internationally.
