Hello, allowed po ba Ang saliva test sa pilipinas from France po?
Hi Miss Jen, can you recommend a remotely supervised antigen test? Thanks
Thanks for your Quick reply, yes i love watching your vlog, very informative. I watch every time i got a chance. Have a blessed day dear thanks again
Hi Jennifer, it would be nice in a near future to see you vlog something about bringing cremated remains of the love ones whom they wish to have their final rest back home to Philippines. Like type of documents required for you to bring when you landed that the immigration might ask for you to show. Your vlogs are always clear and easy to understand. I hope you can make one to help educates our kababayans. More power to you always and god bless you. 🙏🏼 🙏🏼 🙏🏼
Thanks terri sa lhat ng paalla sa mga umuuwi mlking bgay lalo sa senior na nagbblak mkuwi
Thank you Jen for keeping us updated.
Thank you very much. This is very helpful and informative. I am traveling to the Philippines in August as a Balikbayan. I am so excited!
Hello. We have just been thru this extension of the Balikbayan. After your 12 month period you can extend your stay for 1 to 6 months. The Balikbayan privelage is cancelled and you will be given a tourist visa extension for the 1 to 6 month you request. You will also need to apply for an ACR card, meaning full photographs and 10 digit fingerprints. Approx 14,000 peso's and all day sitting in Immigration office. Better to fly out of the country and renew your Balikbayan privelage for a full 12 months.
Thanks for the info
That’s called a visa run.
Correct 💯
Salamat po
Thank you for the info.
Thank you Jennifer. I started following your blog late last year. Thank you for always updating info regarding Philippines travel. Very much appreciated talaga.
The last time that I was in the Philippines which was in October of 2020 I wore the headphones that were provided by the airlines and I used those to put the elastic part of the facemask on because wearing the facemask for a long time really hurts my ears. This solved that problem and what a relief it was. My wife, mother in law and I will be returning to the Philippines on March 24th so we have about 8 weeks until we leave. Thank you for your updates as I will continue to watch them until we leave just to be sure that nothing changes. We are all fully vaccinated so no worries about any of us having to be quarantined. I miss the Philippines.
Thank you Ms. Jenn for the update ..More Power to your Channel🙏🏼👍🏻👌💞

Salamat sa information!
thanks for the update gwapa.
I arrived in Terminal 1 last December and the first line I got in was to verify my QR code. There were about 12 booths -6 booths on one side and 6 on the other. There were a lot of people since more than one flight arrived around the same time. It took a while to get through since the lines were not organized and everyone just bunched up. At Immigration, there was one section for Filippino citizens and one for foreigners. It was easier for Filipino citizens to go through since it was all electronic scanning. One note, be sure to have your boarding pass available or you won't go through. Being Balikbayan, I was in the foreigner line which took a little longer, and all they checked was my passport.
After going through immigration, I picked up my luggage, and since I had a connecting flight to Cebu, I was directed to the transfer desk after picking up my luggage. I did not have to go through customs since the transfer desk was still inside the baggage claim. I just left my luggage with the luggage attendants who tagged my luggages for transfer. I was then directed outside the terminal and turned right to take a transfer bus to Terminal 2. It was about a 10-15 minute wait till we arrived at Terminal 2. I strongly suggest if you have a connecting flight that you have a least a 2-3 hour gap between flights.
foreigner here, both lines have eletronic scanning, not just one. i was there ;)
@@theghostoftravel You may be right. I just recall seeing the Filipino citizens just scanning their passport through gates while we had to still had to talk to an immigration officer to get our passports stamped.
Thanks Jen got it.. thank you for helping us to know the immigration role.. mabuhay ka Jen
Thanks Jennifer for the good information.
Very helpful and very informative , thanks Jennifer
Thanks for the great information. I will apply when I go back to the Philippines in March.

Thank you for the very clear explanation ma'dam
Thanks for sharing this information.
thank you jennifer for the updates
Jennifer, your information from your videos is spot on. We arrived in Cebu yesterday and the process getting through immigration/passport control and customs was very easy and efficient. Even getting the one year Balikbayan for me and my Filipina wife was quick and painless. We traveled from Austin, Texas, caught EVA Air in LAX with a connecting flight in Taipei. Other than the incredibly long flight, it was great. The biggest delay was waiting for baggage in Cebu. As we all know, Filipinos love to bring many Balikbayan boxes with them when they come home. The shipping price is probably pretty high. Thanks for all your work and information. By the way, it seemed like half the flight were foreigners coming for a visit.
Hello! Does EVA AIR require a negative covid test? Or taipe taiwan? Im also gonna travel with it eva air next month to cebu
@@ashleylibrando9 no, not when we flew into Cebu on Jan 26. Nor, none required into Taiwan, especially since we never left the airport. As long as you were fully vaccinated, which we are. I was a little concerned about it since many Chinese are purportedly traveling again. We had no problems. You will be required to wear the mask, of course. Good travels to you.
Hi Jennifer thank you for the update
thanks for your informations, its really helpful
I am coming to Philippines in May. All I need is one shot of J&J as of now. Thanks for all you do God bless
Hi Jenn.. Thank you so much for guiding us through your vlog about my hassle free trip to the Philippines. Arrived here last Monday Jan.23 safe and sound.. I just need my passport, ticket and vaccination card. Thank you again ang God Bless...
You don't need an injection medical tyranny card.

thank you sis🙏🙏🙏
HiJen thank you so much for the info and your rply in FB. God bless
Thanks for the info., by the way ur voice is very similar to ms. catriona gray the way u speak is really the same.☺️
Thank You Po
I'm listening..
Terminal 2 was quite nice when we arrived end of Nov. last year but worst experience was leaving the country..terminal 1 was full packed..line up are very long because they wait 3-4 hrs before your flight to open the check in counter and the waiting area for boarding was too small. Needs a lot to improve.
i think for pinoy who has only foreign passport the place of birth is stated on that passport i hope the immigration officer understands that! that is a common sense…
Being born in PH doesn’t necessary mean that you are a Filipino. An old PH passport or birth certificate are the acceptable proofs that you are a former Filipino.
@@lilys5095 do realize we can’t get foreign passport without valid documents. For instance applying for Canadian citizenship you need old passport and birth certificate.
At least these are the documents I presented transitioning from Filipino passport to Canadian Passport. Not sure about other countries but I’m sure it’s similar.
@@ShellzSD
Good for you if you know Canada’s rules. But those are not PH rules.
Kudos to everyone in the government who streamlined this previously chaotic process!
I arrived last Jan 19 at Terminal 1.First of all am worried about the Covid protocol, but after doing the eTravel form n the QR code on ny iPhone i dint encounter any problem at all.Everything was smooth even at the Immigration. The Im officer just ask the immigration form n passport scrutinized it then,am done..No hassles at all.Am rt now here in Baguio city doing some blogging.Gudluck to y’all😊🫰🏻
This is very clear and helpful! Though I have one question: I'm a Philippine passport holder, and my spouse is a foreign national. Upon arrival, do we go to the Philippine passport queue together? Thank you!
Hello im former filipino po dumating ako s pinas january 7 2023 pagdating s immigration i said hello po former filipino po then binigyan n ko ng balikbayan privilege valid for 1 year. Then after 3 days nagpunta nmn ako thailand for 5 days. Then i have to do the etravel thingy again pag dating pinas another 1 yr balikbayan privilege ulit. Mababait ang officers naka smile n cla lagi :) hahaha or baka un lng natapat s kin.. i just said former filipino po.
Jen can you make a video about the Verification Contract New requirements for OFWs
@Jennifer good public service
Well, not all airlines,Lufthansa airlines make difficult...they have to recognize that and must clear for their personels...regards from europe
Arrived in CRK last Friday, the 20th of this month from Northern Europe and was through immigration after 5 - 10 minutes. I got screen shots of all the necessary papers on my phone and the only thing they ask was the QR code of my e-travel registration. "Smooth sailing" as they say. Thank you very much JT for your untiring efforts for the updates on travelling to the PH. From a balikbayan here...
Hello! Is there any discussion about when the S pass will stop? We are planning to travel to Palawan in the summer, and there are a lot of hoops to jump as a tourist.
it’s ms america 😂😂😂. love you jen.
Frustrating that Philippine govt is so disorganized. Too much red tape.
it's more fun in the Philippines 🇵🇭
😅😅😅😅😊
Hello Jen! Thank you for all you do! My sister and I went home on December 17th (returned Jan 8th). Flew into Clark. We are fully vaccinated with booster. No issues at all! They only asked for the etravel QR code and that was it!! Very smooth!!
Getting there and coming back was another issue as we booked our flights with Air Canada (from Atlanta). They changed our flights 3 times with longer layovers (14 hours going and 28 hours coming back). They checked in my sister’s carry on bag but never made it to the Philippines. They mailed it to my house in the U S and we still had a over week left on our vacation. Luckily, I had enough clothes for my sister to wear (although they fit her a little bit bigger 🤣). The frustrations of getting there and coming back was all worth it though as we were able to spend the holidays with our family. I’ve learned my lesson with Air Canada. They will be my last resort!
Again, thanks Jen for all you do!!
Thank you! If it won't hurt you please wear mask for the vulnerable!
tumawag ako dati sa philippines embassy dito sa japan sabi kailangan daw ng return ticket ng anak ko kung pupunta ng pinas, sino na naka experience dito na japanese passport and oneway ticket lang 5 years old palang anak ko
Kung kasama mo mag travel yung anak mo, di nya need ng return ticket but bring the birth certificate (it must have English translation). One year ang pwde i-stay ng anak mo on balikbayan privilege. Kung walang BC na ipakita or kung mag-isa cya mag travel, need talaga ng exit/ return ticket.
Thank you for the information. I will be travelling end of this month from USA. I am stopping by in Korea for maybe 30hours. Do I need negative result from Korea? Thanks
This is in regards to the Balikbayan stamp upon arrival to the Philippines. On my last trip to the Philippines in December, I asked the Immigration officer if she would stamp my passport with a Balikbayan stamp. She told me it had already been stamped. I was a little confused because there was no stamp saying "Balikbayan". The only thing I noticed was that she had used a black stamp with the arrival date on it beneath the regular red stamp they use upon arrival. I'm assuming this is the new protocol to identify Balikbayans entering the Philippines?
Wonderful job, Jennifer. A shame that during the pandemic they treated us spouses so poorly.
PLANDEMIC!!!
Hi miss jennifer, pwede po mgtanong kung ano po protocols ng clark international airport upon arrival and departure po sa mga unvaccinated, uuwi kasi kami this coming april from germany to philippines kasama ko german husband pareho kming unvaccinated..thank you so much miss jen sa pgsagot..God bless ❤❤❤❤
Jennifer, my sister lost her vaccine card (CDC) i got printed copy from the Department of Health is that valid to travel?
Qatar Airlines are still asking for Visum, it happend when i Check in for my flight the incharge personnel asked n me how Long will istay in the Phil.since iam now a German Passport holder i told him iam Honor because iam a Balikbayan but He keep on asking some certification luckily i had one given us before Longtime ago he wanted to verify First but as He saw that Balikbayan certification it was dann OK Hope the tourism Department, Immigration Department will inform all Airlines ,i Hope you can get in touch with them thank you Jenny i'm an aved fun of yours Goodday God Bless you
Pa request po travel guide para sa mga permanent residents ngayong 2023
If you're still a Filipino citizen but a permanent resident somewhere else, you can stay forever/ as long as you like in PH. However, take note of the rules in your country of residence. Some countries allow only an absence of 6 months or 1 year for PR (else, you lose your PR status and have to reapply).
Hello, tanong ko lang po sana. Ano po required kung mag exit galing pinas papuntang US po?
Great video. Where's the best place to get a SIM Card for my phone? At the airport or at a phone store at the mall? Thanks Jen 👍
Before you exit the airport, there are kiosks selling SIM cards. If you're going to the province, it's best to know which provider (Globe vs Smart) has better coverage. If you'll stay in large cities, almost equal coverage.
Jen kinasal ako sa english dito sa cyprus uuwi ako ng march 20 anong mga documents ang aking dadalhin pauwi. Sana matugonan mo. Thanks
Sana my makatulong wala kasi kmi idea sa requirement
Hi po miss Jennifer do they still need to wear mask in plane going in Philippines or it's optional?
Hi Jennifer, my wife is Filipina / UK dual national, she has 2 passports. Can she enter with me (I'm UK national) in the Filipino immigration queue to get Balakbayan visa or do we need stay in the foreign passport queue. Hope you can advise, thank you.
Hello mam... paano po kung 1st dose vaccine namin is AstraZeneca then 2nd and 3rd dose are Biontech? Kasi sa registration only 1st and 2nd dose ang fill upon. What about the 3rd dose?
uwi po ako ng pinas this sunday. kailangan ko pa po ba ng pcr test or antigen test kung may 2dose of vaccine napo ako?
Hi Jennifer, how about 2 Bottles of Wine in my luggage(gifts for my parents)is it allow or not ...thank you
Can you recommend us a transport service to pick us up at naia and drive us straight to ilocos?
Miss jen sa mga unvaccinated po na uuwe ng pinas , iqquarantine pa po ba? And kailngan po ba mag book ng sarili hotel from the country of origin pagdating sa airport? Pls help
Thanks Jennifer, Yes just like you said, Arrive with you partner simply ask for Balikbayan Stamp too easy! Now what is not clear is can you re-enter the Philippines with out you partner within the year you got your Balikbayan stamp? Common sense tell me yes but with all the rules changing you never know where you stand here.... I guess its a case of its more fun in the Philippines haha 🤣
The Balikbayan visa ends when you exit the country. When you re-enter without the Balikbayan (Filipino/former Filipino), the foreign national will only get the normal visa-free stay depending on the country of citizenship (30 days if foreign national from country listed in EO408).
@@lilys5095 Thank you I thought that was the case.
Merun daw mga bagong mga requirement pag umuwi sa pinas? Baka nmn pwd po kau gawa ng content..slmt
hi jen
Wonderful breakdown Jennifer. My wife is Filipino but now a US Citizen. I understand the Balikbayan privilege but my question is do we need to use the foreigner line when going through customs or does the privilege extend to entry line also. Thanks.
I always use the foreigner line
My wife and I will be traveling to the Philippines in the near future. My question is, is there any forms that we need to fill out prior to our flight?
And how about if I travelled and has been checked my vaccination 2 vaccine 2 booster do I need to registered or get another proof if I want to travel again?
Hi, Can i still get balikbayan privileges if I have return ticket? And I have balikbayan can I not show to my return ticket? Thank you
Mis jen,ask ko lng ano need pgtravel ng foreigner gling Austria mgtravel kc fiance ngayon feb 11, thanks and God Philippines
Hello Jen, how about Kong hindi kami sabay umuwi.. Mauna kasi ako at susunod nalang sila..kinahanglan ba silang mokuha ug visa or my husband need to show our marriage contract Okey na ba iyon.? Answer me please.. Thanks
