- The War Within beta has plenty of neat secrets, but this book has fascinated me. People have posted screenshots of it, and at a cursory glance, it looks like gibberish, but it turns out the text in the book has its own alphabet! Translation and guide shown in video. 95% of this we already know from Blizzcon or the Hallowfall story itself, but now we know that the Arathi Empire is lead by a dynasty of Emperor Thoradin(s)! If only they gave us clues to what those numbers are!
Who knows how many years it will be till we meet him, but MAN all of this Arathi Empire business is fascinating!
That was a really good catch. Amazing work. Also, That looks a lot like a Thoradin IX, which would be the 9th in roman numerals.
I was resistant to it just cause I was uncertain, but that's what I'm going to call him till it's confirmed otherwise tbh!

If they used roman numbers it looks like his name is Thoradin the 9th(atleast it looks like a IX roman number to me)
They added the numbers to the calligraphy texture, so it is indeed nine! And we have confirmation that the other number is 342nd, but they don't really seem to follow the same numeral pattern.
@@LycrusWoW A friend in a discord wrote this the other night when i linked them the video "you only end a ordianal number in ND if its a 2 preceeding, using 1 slash for 1, 2 for 2, a curve for 3, and then the dot under 3 to represtent 4" and i guess he ended up being right!
