Looking at all these scenes in this video it is so hard to fathom that we find so much self seeking pleasure in flocking to bigger cities to sit in bars, strip clubs, casinos and etc. One of my deepest looks on my life was sitting on a beach and just thinking why go back when I want to stay here, listen to the waves and sit and talk with God. Do we really deserve the life we are wasting?
I am a failure -- I am wretched - I am lost - I am worried... Even in all these problems I find - God is pulling me into him. "I wish I could pray more" really hit me in this video. Prayer is my failure. wretched is my need to "Feel good" - Lost is my heart - Worried is my sickness.
My mind and heart is open, but the enemy wants me to feel guilty and to give up. Though the bible tells me "I love you" "Come to me" "Peace in Christ" "Honor Gods laws" "Dwell in God" To answer your question. I would say no we don't. Though how a God can still forgive and save speaks volumes of his mercy.

Ive listened to this on repeat for days. Im getting the opportunity to preach at an addiction recovery center and I am going to do Luke 11:1-13 because of how the Holy Spirit has used these words from Paul Washer to ignite something in me. Thank you for this content.
