He's not really a pastor .. he does not lead a congregation but runs a global missionary. He does guest "spots" and gets to say these things that the regular pastor never could without puzzling his congregation or shocking them with such TOTAL surrender to the spiritual.

Kinda scared me when he said that God might want you to draw near unto him and read through the book of john.Because I've been reading through the book just recently but have been falling and not reading alot.Pray for me that I may learn new things from the word of God.

Can all believers, who love Christ and truly desire to live for Him, PLEASE PRAY for me!!?? I want to live the way pastor Washer is talking about but I don't know how! I really want to. Please pray that God shows me how. I want to die to myself and live for Christ!
Dear brother, it is such a joy to see a fellow believer in Christ truly long to live for Christ, but if you don't know how, I implore you, get your Bible and study it. And don't just study it, continually walk in prayer and ask God to reveal the beauty of each text you read. Saturate yourself with His Word, He shows us how to live for Him in His Word. And don't only just study His Word, but as I said before walk in prayer, fellowship with true brothers and sisters in Christ, find a church where the Word of God is preached and attend it, listen to true, biblical pastors. Fill yourself with Christ and throw out all hindrances that you can. I shall be praying for you. God bless you. :D

Pastor Washer is encouraging us in the Lord. And your heartfelt desire to please God has just encouraged me. I wish to have a heart like yours
If I may make a suggestion as to how. I am in a form of where you are at. Jesus tells us to deny ourselves. A place of humility is the Christian life. We beat our bodies and minds into submission every day. It's a daily fight putting on the armour of God and holding your thoughts captive using discernment through the Word of God of whether your thoughts are even Godly. Preach the gospel to yourself but make sure you understand the gospel in its entirety. If you really examine yourself you will really understand the gospel better which in turn your true love of Jesus Christ will grow exponentially. Read psalm 119 and know those 175 verses stem from this unbelievable love that is coming from you is actually genuine towards Christ. This love you will recognize coming from you is not possible without Him. I pray this makes sense. Much love brother and to all the brothers and sisters on this thread. Praise the LORD!

I needed this. My 35 yr old died in Jan. They ruled it suicide (a botched investigation). The boyfriend posted the day before she was already dead. We have over 2 dozen pieces of evidence that proves murder. My brother just retired as a sheriff. I was a peace officer also. We've brought it to the police 4 times. There's been two to drive by shootings and the cops refused to take a report. Her younger brother has attempted suicide 4 times because of his depression over this. I'm on state aid, my separated husband took everything. There's more.....
I have always thanked God especially in the worst of times. I forgave the boyfriend two days after this happened. But I just can't seem to pick up my Bible in the last 6 months. I struggle everyday with this. God is great and this is for his purpose.

Ps. Washer, people are going to say all sorts of things and I am sure you know that well. I just want to encourage you to continue seeking God and His validation like you are doing. Many are blessed by your strongly biblical and disciplining sermons and I Bless you for your submission to our Father in Heaven. What this corrupt world needs is the gospel as you preach. People have developed itching years and are uncomfortable if they are asked to step out of ways of the world and step into God's will and plan for their life. The right ones will listen to you and step out into their God made destinies with obedience and Joy in the spirit. For it is true, obedience as says 2 Chronicle 7:14 is the way to live the life of abundance of Christ. Jesus said, "if you love me, you will obey my commandments." You must study romans 8&9, study Ephesians 1. “Calvinism” you say...that stems from the scriptures my friend. He’s not a true Calvinist by the way. Only in his soteriology does he go that far. But he is correct in that. Don’t be shouting false teacher when you do not know what you say. False teachers our unsaved wicked wolves who would have been put to death back in Augustine’s day. This is a huge sin against this man that you ought to repent of and really take serious. Slander was a death penalty back then as well. I say that just to tell you to be careful. It’s a dangerous thing to offend the Lord and we ought to avoid it at all cost. We must fear the Lord and love the Lord with everything we have. That is all he’s saying here. If that’s false then you need to be truly saved or really consider what it means to be saved. The greatest command is to love the Lord with all you heart and soul, mind, and strength. Problem is most Christians have no idea what that truly means. It’s to honor all his commands and statutes. Paul is always trying to get that through to us. That every minute of everyday we are to glorify him. Ironically some calvinists (hyper calvinists) are saved and begin to stop doing everything for the Lord. They do the opposite of what Paul does. Please have grace, love, and respect when dealing with these great preachers of our day. Jesus Saves what does being born again mean to you? Does it mean just confessing with your mouth you believe in Yahushua? If you are not born again of the spirit then you cannot enter into the kingdom of God. If you don’t have a relationship with Yahushua he will say depart from me I never knew you. Actually the Bible does say there'll be works that accompany salvation. The works aren't necessary for salvation but if a person really gets saved he can no longer happily partake in the wickedness he used to enjoy before. He'd have new desires for holiness. Paul Washer warns professing christians to check if their deeds add up to their profession of faith... which actually happens to be in accordance with scripture. Good works don't save us but good works accompany salvation- this is what you interpret as heretical from PW. Please understand that once we begin to see the surpassing love of Christ at the cross for broken people like us as a response we'd want to keep ourselves holy for His sake; not that we'll never ever sin again but when we do sin we'll not be okay with that...we'll seek Christlike nature despite our shortcomings.

Messages like this convict me. I live a sinful life. I get drunk, I use drugs, I have sex before marriage with my lady. Even in my sin, Christ loves me, so even with my sin, I'll love Him. Jesus' love for me is unrequited too often. I try my hardest to tell my friends about the gospel, but my actions speak otherwise. I'm asking brothers and sisters in Jesus to pray for me. Let God have my will, so my hands can follow.

John Calvin held Augustine in high esteem.. Calvin also attended the very same college in France as Ignatius Loyola the founder of the Catholic Jesuits.. Paul Washer pushes a hardcore false gospel of works, teaching that works are required for salvation or if you don't have works you are not saved.. Eph 2:8-9, ~Rom 4:5 and Matt 7:23 expose these types of wolves who promote this evil.. BE NOT DECEIVED.

I am broken thinking lies about Christ I dont live like I use to with Christ believing I am unworthy to come back home I been with men and I smoke to cover up the pain I dont know how to get back up I been broken down believing I was doing my best with Christ I went back to a man who broken me down and I believe God does not want me back to restore me I hurt God I want freedom myself I been emotional numb and shut down inside.

Please read luke 15:4-32. The whole thing. For God the Father rejoices in the presence of angels over one sinner who repents.
You are precious to the Lord. No matter how unworthy you feel, how the Lyer (Satan) would want you to feel, the Father is so gracious He will welcome you back when you repent of your sin and hate your own sin. He will love you and forgive you because Jesus has already paid the price for your sin when He died on the Cross. He has taken our sins to the grave. So, acknowledge that sin, repent, know that you are forgiven. Walk in Peace. Meanwhile, in Heaven the Angels and the Lord are rejoicing!
Nothing can separate you from His love...GO BACK TO CHRIST. Repent and He will forgive you. I know sometimes it may be hard to forgive yourself for some things but He does forgive. He is your first love and He won't leave you or forsake you. Trust in Him with your whole heart don't lean unto your own understanding. The is nobody like Him and there is nothing that's too hard for Him. Give Him ALL the praise He is worthy. He has NEVER let me down and has been there when no one else has. Trust Him and watch your life change for the better
I know what you mean. I have autism and my mind gets dark a lot. I’ve been through this a lot. I have been thoroughly convinced that I fell too far and was beyond forgiveness many times. And yet, many times, God was right there when I prayed and seeked him through the Bible. God loves you more than you can ever imagine.

Summer Jones can we not even make an observation without another believer tearing us down? The music is awesome, it goes without saying the message needs to be focused on more so than the music.
Summer Jones Paul Washer has been a huge inspiration for me in my Christian walk since 2007. His messages always convey the gospel and some of them I’ve listened to over a hundred times. And through all the sermon jams I’ve heard over the years the music and the message sink up the best on this one in my opinion. But the message will always be better than the music 😇. I hope this brings clarity.

Hey Sister Jenny. Ask him, his word says ASK and YOU WILL RECEIVE. SEEK HIM AND YOU WILL FIND HIM. Have faith and believe. Pray and pray. Speak to him as you do to a friend. Tell him what you so greatly seek. Read his word. It'll also tell you HOW to be obedient.
