+Gee Ingram ikr when I was younger I would spend all my money in the toy shops actually I have a few videos of some of the things I brought if you would like to see them search silkwing girl buld a bear
@Lewis Davis Well I would be I AM A PROUD BRUMMIE OF 65 YEARS, so what a young man was hacked to death in I believe Oxford Street in London in front of tourists, get you faxs right our City is not segregated we all live together in this Great City and yes it is safe, every city has its crime and other Cities in Great Britain are worse than Birmingham so sorry if I upset you by being obsessed because I can not understand why when a tourist video come on you tube about Birmingham morons like yourself pull it apart with a load of malicious crap of untrue information on Brum, I don't see Chavs not sure what they look like and no it is not riddled with crime,. Get real it is a City, you are not telling me there is no crime in places such as London , Paris, New York, Chicago and by the way Birmingham Alabama has a bigger issue with segregation. YES LEWIS I AM OBSEESED WITH BRUM sorry I annoy you, get the facts right if you looked at the wider city you would know you are talking crap.
expensive shops you have to wait fifteen or more minutes for the elevators big building and the toilets are right at the top not child friendly at all what was wrong with the old bullring
Just seen this report, no you do not have to wait fifteen minutes for an escalator a bit of an exaggeration there, there are more toilets in the Bull ring than the ones at the top and why do they have to be Child Friendly, it is a shopping Mall for Gods sake not a Kinder Garten and what was wrong with the old Bullring, lots, for a start it was out dated, old and built of unsightly concrete, the new Bullring beets the old one hands down
Cities destroy all of their Brutalism at their peril. The twin strong images of Spaghetti Junction and the Bull Ring are now just one as Bullring is just another glass house that could be anywhere with smooth corners and smooth service and smoothies. No big reason to visit Birmingham over many other big cities as a tourist except for (prebook at least the day before) Cadburys World in Bournville.
Seems you are talking a load of Rubbish, did you ever see the Bullring Shopping Centre mark 2 built in the sixties and the Pallasades Shopping centre that was over New Street station, The Bullring Centre mark 2 looked good when it was built as did the Pallasades Shopping Centre, but as the years went by the BullRing Mark 2 became an embarrassment and run down, Both the BullRing Shopping Centre and The pallasades were rebuilt both owned now by the same company, The New Bullring Shopping Centre known world wide kept its name and Bull Motif but the Pallasades became known as Grand Central both together making one of the biggest and modern shopping complexes in Britain. For visitors to Birmingham, not only have you got Cadbury world which you mention, but you have the Headquarters of the Sea Life aquariums, our world renowned Art Museum containing the Staffordshire Hoard, the Think Tank Museum, the 36 miles of canals, 5 michelin star restaurants, The NEC, The NIA , Aston Hall Jacobean House, world famous jewellery quarter, at Christmas we have the biggest German Market outside Germany and Loads of Parks plus many more visitor attractions, so yes Paul as Birmingham's motto is " A City of a Thousand Trades", so there is a thousand reasons for tourists to visit Birmingham
@@GameOvais Yes but who made Alum Rock it is now, the Asian community have ruined it. I was born in the Alum Rock, Washwood Heath, Saltley area and the 1960's and 1970's it was a nice place to live but when the Asian community started moving in so the area went down hill.
No mate, the Bullring/Grand Central now one combined shopping mall owned by the same people is world known and the biggest city center shopping mall in the UK.
If only the Bullring was always that quiet.
Weekdays before 1pm it'll be even quieter, especially when it's raining. But I like it between dead quiet and the Saturday rush.

Traff centre better tho
You can't really compare them. One is a city centre mall while the other is a huge out of town complex.
Ammar Iftikhar nah I’d go bullring over Trafford

.
Lacks any character , zero book store , no Apple store thats criminal , dirty , alot of the shop staff unhelpful ,Manchester miles ahead .
It’s got a book store going towards grand central, and Apple store is also at the opposite end in its own building..
I rember years ago Apple was inside the building
Another friggin apple fanboy. Seriously, theres more to a mall than having a stupid apple shop.
Sorry mate, the Bull Ring is full of character.
