Teltonika FMB120 - Installation and tests

My plan is to use it as alarm system. The Eye Beacons in combination can be used to monitor the windows (campervan) and report if someones opens them forcefully. By using the CAN-CONTROL device I'm able to issue a immobilization via CAN to stop the car from beeing driven away, by an unauthorized person. It has soo many great features and was worth the extra money 😁😁

Been installing teltonika units for 5+ years now and I gotta say. FMB12X family is a pleasure to install. Same thing with FMB640 and FMC640 for more CanBus connections etc.

how about the warranty of the vehicle when damaging those cable?

@@KristofBernaert goes void only if the unit is damaging the vehicle. And when connecting the can, you can use teltonika simple can to avoid soldering dorectly to the can wires on the vehicle.

nice vid but there are some things you explained wrong, for exemple bluetooth autoradios are not part of BLE devices you can pair with a FMB120 to work with, this is intended to use with Fuel sensors (Eskort brand, Russian company), temperature and relative humidity sensors, magnetic sensors, movement but no autoradio.
Green driving scenario won't let you know if car is driving too fast, this is the overspeeding feature, green driving rely on accelerometers to detect harsh events, such as acceleration, braking and cornering.
in the IO tab, the "High" mention is not designed to detect high level of fuel consumption but only to determine if the unit shall create an event with specific trigger immediately and send it to server instead of waiting for the tracking to be generated. IOs that you choose to set the priority to "low" will be inserted into the message sent by the unit, "high" will create an event and send it by gprs, panic will create an event too but will send it over sms if no gprs is active. If you want the unit to send a message when fuel consumption is too high, set the low and high thresholds and use an opreand like "exit" to generate a sms when the value exits the allowed values.
I would advise you to get and read official documentation available for free on teltonika-gps.com/product/fmb120/#downloads , the user manual gives every detail you need to know on how to configure it and yes, as you said these trackers are really efficient and do not cost this much. If i had an advise for you regarding FMB1xx for small vehicle, i would recommend you to test FMB140 which has CANBUS adapter integrated and for simpler installations FMT100 is great as it plugs directly on car battery ;)

I've really appreciated your video. The only thing is that it's no so clear or easy to learn if you film the screen of your computer. I have one of this FMB120 but not done nothing yet because it's a bit complicated. Can you please show the computer screen instead of filming it?
And also I would like to buy FM3001 device.
