Sea-Doo Fish Pro fishing in the Manukau Harbour

I got the opportunity to take a customers Sea-doo Fish Pro out for a fishing trip, so I went out fishing on the Manukau Harbour, fishing for Snapper with soft baits. I also tried jigging for King fish but couldn't find any, in fact the first half of the day was very quiet, until I tried softbaiting for Snapper and had some great success on some good sized Manukau Harbour Snapper. It was a good opportunity for me to go fishing off a Sea-doo Fish Pro and get a chance to compare it to my Yamaha Waverunner fishing jet ski

must have been nice to finally be out haha. manukau should b good for gurnard now haha need some gurnard action plus more trevs. pretty amazing how quickly you were able to travel from the southern area to the northern area so fast. those were some good sized snapper you managed to get.

Hi where did you launch and were you inside the harbour? I’ve only caught snaps that size by launching Port Waikato ie equivalent to being outside the bar nice fish!
