Thank you Jon for this video. I have been following you for a while now, but this video brought me into consideration about buying a land in quiet part of the world and live slow life with nature, animals and peace around...
I had a friend who retired in Thailand and married a Thai lady. He only had his social security to live on which was about $1250 a month. They lived a simple life but were happy together. He died at the age of 82. His wife had him cremated. He did very well for such a small income.
Beautiful man. We are kindred spirits. I have also been blessed to live simply, peacefully and free. It was thee best choice I could have ever made. I feel you.
I am 61 and obviously no longer the same but like Fili, i refused to stop working. I will do my best till i drop dead. Dying is just another stage of living. We moved from physical death to eternal life.
Life is beautifull, we made it it ugly because lack of self knowledge. Our life become ugly because of ignorance. We get wisdom when we drop our SELF (Ego, Memory, Thoughts, Goals)

Victoria, Australia and we have had rain . Night temps have dropped from above 20c down to 15c . The soil is warm and a bit damp, I,m sowing seeds for crops during the winter months.
