yes you can work as PSW if you have worked in such an environment before and cared for patient in india or which ever country you are from. The only thing is you need a good and strong resume mentioning all the aspects.

Hi, I'm from the Philippines and graduated a 4yr course not related to health/medical. And i'm wondering if a Caregiver NCII in TESDA, without experience, is ok or do we need to study in Canada? If canada, what school can u recommend? I'll be an international student in that case since im still in ph. Also, where can I apply and what are the other requirements? I plan on doing a DIY and I couldn't really find more info about applying for PSW that explains like u do. Also, planning to be in Ontario :) Thank you so much for your time!
Hello, i don’t have any information in regards to caregiver. Usually you need to go through an agency for that. In terms of International student you need to have an acceptance letter from the college or university, apply for a student visa and a proof of financial as well

Hello, Going into healthcare is a very tough but rewarding career. In terms of skills, make sure to have good social skills as you will be interacting with clients. The ability to look after vulnerable people in the community is not something that comes naturally to many people.

You need to have psw credentials. Psw takes only about 8 months to complete and Ontario government pays your tuition.
