'Nature’s Law' is the lead single from Embrace’s UK number-one album ‘This New Day’, released 20 March 2006. Produced by legendary producer Martin ‘Youth’ Glover (founding member of Killing Joke), the single achieved considerable success, and reached number two on the UK Singles chart missing out on the top spot by less than 100 sales! It remains the band’s highest charting single to date. The video was shot on location near the city of Lodz in Poland.

ABOUT EMBRACE
Formed in the early ‘90s, Embrace solidified their current line-up in 1996, consisting of brothers Danny and Richard McNamara, bassist Steve Firth, keyboardist Mickey Dale, and drummer Mike Heaton.
Their breakthrough came in 1997 with the indie anthem 'All You Good Good People', followed by top 10 hits 'Come Back To What You Know' and 'My Weakness Is None Of Your Business'. Debut album 'The Good Will Out’, released in June 1998 soared to number one and went on to sell over 500,000 copies in the UK alone, marking it out as one of the fastest-selling debuts by a British artist. Subsequent albums, 'Drawn from Memory' (2000) and 'If You've Never Been' (2001) both entered the top 10 before the band left their original label Hut Recordings.
After a three-year hiatus, Embrace signed with Independiente Records. 2004’s 'Out of Nothing’ album propelled the band back to the top of the charts, thanks in part to Coldplay's Chris Martin, who wrote the hit single ‘Gravity' for the album. The album went on to sell over 600,000 copies in the UK (2xPlatinum) and the band has now scored eight consecutive top 10 album in their career to date.

A friend of mine died in 2006, aged 15. Embrace dedicated the song to him on their UK tour. And here i am 15 years later - I come every year.

My son passed away in 2007 aged 19. He listened to this album and now so do I. Would love to hear them live in 2024. Makes me feel emotional but their music is performed wirh true feeling xx

It's really strange to hear this song now I'm older. This really spoke to me when I was literally in love with a woman that I could never be with. Very emotionally charged stuff, and brilliant lyrics.

Favourite song of all time
This song will always bond me and my eldest son. He was only 11 when this song was released. We went to the Embrace gig together at the Leadmill Sheffield 17 years later. What a magical night ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The part of this song between 02:21 and 03:31, in other words the exceptionally long "bridge" leading up to the final chorus is definitely the most powerful, beautiful and stunning piece of music ever made! I remember hearing this song for the first time a couple of years ago in my Mum's car but I barely knew what it was called. Last year this song came back to my head and I spent ages trying to find out what it was called with no success. Eventually, I asked Mum if she had the album I gave her as a present when she had a sore throat as I thought I heard it on there but she couldn't find it. I eventually decided to give up searching. But today, I decided to try again and I find it! :)

I have been an Embrace fan since the first album, but this song is special. It has grown a lot on me. Danny's voice shines on this one. What he sings is pure poetry. Melody and vocals come together here.

Embrace first album "The Good Will Out", their fourth "Out Of Nothing" and their fifth and latest "This New Day" all went straight into number one spot in the UK Album Top 40. Both Coldplay and Keane have supported them and looked up to them and Chris Martin even wrote "Gravity" and thought it sounded so much like Embrace that he wanted them to record it. They made the most amount of stunning anthems out there. Even more than Oasis.
So in love wit this song! first heard this song and the group in Newark Millgate in the hotel restaurant while I was on my way to the toilet. Heard the melody, asked the lady at the bar about the pop group and picked the album firs thing next morning! fabulous
