As a Mariah fan in a relationship with a royalist I was looking forward to this episode but Meghan's personality is too much to bear. Why is she constantly talking about herself? Why is she always mentioning she's biracial? It's like she has nothing else going for her. I actually feel sorry for Harry.

Well to clarify Mariah is a diva regardless because of her vocal skills since that's the original definition of the word, but Meghan being called a diva only makes sense in the modern context of the word which means a female that is demanding and insufferable since she has no vocal skills.

I am not a fan of Mariah Carey BUT today I changed my tune. She put Cackle in her place but good!!! Dumb that she won't admit she is a diva as Mariah does not care one iota to be called a diva. You can see who got by her fame by having talent and who got famous by marrying a prince!!!

I think the reason these and others are participating is simply the exposure and the hype that this show may be popular. Now that the show is a flop, I bet many are regretting they said yes to an interview.

That remark alone of her fabulousness, would make me walk away from a person like that without explaining. It is a very loud indicator that she is too far gone. I think Mariah missed the moment. The real truth moment. Someone needs to show mm with pictures and words. Of course some of this ,being taped probably had a heavy discussion and was cut out of the recording . It showed me how very entangled a brain can be to miss so much of the obvious that others see.

I listened to the entire Mariah Carey podcast because (1) I am a fan of Carey and (2) I do appreciate the premise of the podcast series and appreciate the women featured, who probably thought the platform would give them the chance to show a courageous side of their journeys that no one had heard before in such an intimate way. Carey was not only incredibly intelligent, articulate, and authentic about her experience, she was incredibly generous to Markle when Markle spoke of her own experience. However, when Markle responded the way she did about the diva remark, I could not believe it. She really has a very serious problem and that response just confirms so many concerns that people have had about her.
Because Meghan is a Narscissist and is completely unaware.

Then that goes with saying that we shouldn’t know who the royal family is, since they haven’t accomplished much. Except that in many way they have, if at least entertainment and intrigue for the world to feast on. The Queen, however, has actually done enough in her life to merit her love and admiration. So really it’s the rest of the family that needs to pick up any slack and be worth the money that the British taxpayers are paying them.

As a stay at home mom I consider that I DO have it all. This narrative that persists that you must have both a family and a career in order to “have it all“ is not the message we should be sending to our young women. The highest aspiration a young woman can have is motherhood.
I agree with the first part but you are absolutely wrong about the motherhood part…. I have no children and have a wonderfully fulfilling life….3.5 billion women in the world should ALL aspire to have children

I disagree that motherhood is the "highest" aspiration, but I do agree it's an "equal" aspiration to all others. I believe the message we should send young women is no matter what you aspire to be, if you achieve it then you WILL "have it all". Maybe that will stop people BOTH from looking down their noses at women who choose to be stay-at-home moms, and the reverse of treating women who want a career as somehow morally wrong.

Good comment... I'm glad you're happy. However, it's only your definition of "having it all". The question we might ask, is, why do we aspire or why should we aspire to "have it all"? Mature persons know that there are about a million things we can have in life, and about a million that we can't. Women of the 1930s were taught that raising a family is a serious, respectable enterprise, but also very taxing, expensive and absorbing. Careers are also respectable, expensive and absorbing. Sensible teachers had their students understand that spreading oneself too thin could be bad, even disastrous.
The feminist movement hit the theme of "having it all" pretty hard in the 1970s. Fact was, more women graduated college in the 1930s than in the 1970s. The feminist movement was more about woke and other politics than raising the status of women.
I firmly believe all people should be able to pursue their dreams. They should also be able to live in peace and freedom, enjoying full liberty, when they do it... oh wait. That's already been invented...🎉

My goodness me, she always looks like an unmade bed, no matter what designer clothes she wears. That hair of hers needs a jolly good wash, and also a stylist. To me she looks dirty, and all up very unimpressive. I am pleased she left the Royal Family, Rachel Ragland could never really join the family, she just did not have what it takes, in fact Rachel was an embarrassment. Kudos to the rest of the family, as I believed they tried to make her very welcome. If my son bought something that bad home, he would get the message loud and clear.

Mariah’s a superstar because she had REAL talent (her sheer vocal abilities and not to mention record breaking songs and song writing) and she worked and continue to work for decades maintaining this. But even with that, here she is less of a diva that an undeserving Markle. Someone who can arguably deserve to be a diva is shutting down an undeserving egotistical one.
I do wish Tom Bower would come to the USA soon for a book tour to counter all this crap from her.🇺🇸

Mariah knows that Meghan is probably the most famous woman in the world right now & is using her for her own PR. There's always an agenda at work behind the scenes with these people.

You know nothing about the royal family or Meghan Markle. Princess Di, Fergie and Meghan married into a firm that allowed their men to do what they wanted to do and the woman had to obey and perform their duties no matter what. That is clear. Harry and Meghan are doing their own thing. She was an accomplished woman before she started dating Harry. I hope the best for them and whatever they would like to do.
She has a right to talk about her experiences. Trust me - Kate is showing signs of the stress with dealing with her husband. Your type always trying to put them in their place. Never, in the history of Wimbledon, has any celebrity or Royal demanded empty seats around them so the public cannot sit near them. Then, when people were taking photos of Serena playing, Meghan had her bodyguards tap them on the shoulder and demand they not take photos of her (Meghan), when they actually weren't.

When she says that “diva” is a term she doesn’t connect with, it’s precisely for the other person to go “oh but you ARE a diva Meg, what are you taking about?!” and then keep trying to be humble about it with the “oh no I’m not…” so that the other person continues to say why she IS indeed a diva giving all sorts of details. She knows exactly what she’s doing, she manipulates conversations brilliantly. She’s smart, I must give her that.

Spencer Klavan is a gentleman. He critiques without needing to snipe or smack down. Instead, he schools by making oblique references to positives, teachable and inspiring moments. It's understandable, though, how Markle's "raging' narcissism triggers such backlash.

Why was calling Mariah Carey embracing being a diva a different conversation, then her being called a diva? Then to add to it, asking if her crush was coming to an end because she was called a diva? Seriously? She spent the entirety of the interview referring to Mariah Carey as a diva!
I genuinely feel M thinks you can just wish and assert things into réalisation. Every now and then she actually says it. Remember the “life is about storytelling, the stories we tell ourselves” to Oprah and the “I can say anything”. Which is why she is genuinely surprised when people have an option on her, anyone or anything else for that matter that is not completely aligned with her vision.

Hey, Megyn, I thought about your program this morning as I was praying. Has it ever occurred to you that what the world is seeing in Harry and Meghan's behavior are two people who were wounded as children in their lives and now as adults are still "acting out" as little children who are still in pain?? Think about the enormous pain Prince Harry suffered as a 12 year old who lost the rock in his life, his mother and then having to endure the added pain of having his father shove CPB in his face. What resentment and a sense of betrayal he must of felt from the royal family as their way of dealing with situations is to stuff your feelings and not talk about them. He is a man who is STILL a 12 year old child acting out at unresolved issues of pain from his childhood. The only difference with Harry is that most of us don't have a world platform from which to air our grievances. People in pain act out due to unresolved pain and bitterness in their lives. I challenge you to create a program based on examining WHY he and Megan have lashed out at their family members and destroyed the bridges between them. They are two adults who have unresolved , painful childhood issues that have not been dealt with as adults. I challenge you to get off of the world's Let's Bash Harry and Megan Bandwagon and show a little compassion. Produce a program to find out why they are lashing out and have a victim mentality. .millions wod watch it and learn something.
