As a Michigander, i really hope we get lots of snow this winter. Last winter was literally hell. 70 degrees in February last year was just ridiculous. I had seasonal depression last year for not being out much and no sun but with dull sky, dead trees, and dead grass.
I feel like Severe weather is gonna be very likely for the Deep south Due to La Niña this winter maybe a few Severe weather or a few Tornado Outbreaks are not out of the question. but thanks for the Update Hunter.😊
Thanks for the new data weather update weather on the go for the long range 👍. I kind of have a feeling for the Great Lakes region in southern Ontario might experience more precipitation then the models are saying it is for the fall and maybe even winter time because things like the water temperatures in the lakes are being warmer than normal it is favouring more cloud development sense there’s more evaporation taking place and due to it, having a record rainy summer and even a rainy spring this year, moisture follows moisture and that helps continues to lead to more precipitation later on, and thanks to the fact that we’re in a La Niña pattern it will also help favour, more cloud, cover development and precipitation. What do you think.
That stinks! We need lots of rain and snow out here in Idaho. We are already below moisture and above in heat! I hold you accountable for bringing us cooler, wetter weather. Get w/ it!
@@punchfreneticallydot my son lives in BILLINGS. He is a lawyer there, and can’t move his business so they are stuck there. But my part of Idaho (sw…Twin Falls area is dry dessert. We need water…..there isn’t enough for the farmers. Montana is beautiful country. Some parts of Idaho are too. But those farmers spend a lot of $$$$$ irrigating those famous Idaho potatoes.
North Central Washington here. A couple of weeks ago, I heard that the weather here would be unusually cold and snowy. Does the "surprise" for our area mean that it will be less snowy and warmer than usual? Should I still spring for a new generator?
I'm in CT and our winters have sucked lately, no more blizzards, no more BIG snowstorms like we had growing up. The last really big snowfall that I can remember was 2013 where I got 30 inches at my house.
Will be adjusted as time goes on of course, as will all models.This forecast differs to others I see, most notably nowadays. The last 3 la Nina's weren't as wet or cold as forecasted. Guess we'll find out
So it looks to me here in NW Minnesota, its going to be cold and dry with very little snow? That so sucks after coming off 3+years of drought. Last year we MAY have had 8" of snow all winter! And not al at once. The people who make their money in snow removable went hungry.😢

The top analog for this Winter is actually 2013 and 2014. We’ll just have to wait and see how it all unfolds.

There still may be cold days and some chances for rain and snow in Texas this Fall and Winter. The cold weather and snow will likely be infrequent.

Unlikely. I’m expecting a warmer and drier Winter season in Raleigh, North Carolina this year.
