    I am proud to say I was raised in Bayou la Batre. Worked on shrimp boats, oysters, gillnets, crab, and all of that. It was nice to see Mr. Rodney. I grew up with all of his kids. Thanks for the video. Brought back good memories

    The seafood business is only a shell of what it used to be and that's a shame

      the seafood mafia tookover...you got to pay them now if you want to catch seafood and they get a percent and just sit it's like that with red snapper and a couplle other fish...not sure about shrimp.
      oh yeah and there is only one person in the state that has his own exception that lets people fish on his pier without fishish license...I wonder how he scored that...
