Other notes: For the first Saturday of May, we kicked things off with this sorta oddball of a 3T22 in Perrysburg. Dylan was visiting us for the weekend to make up for him having to cancel his plans the month prior, and we also carpooled Alex with us. This one is water tower mounted, has a stuck 12 port damper, and the rotors on it seem to have been swapped to be in the opposite stators based on how funky it sounds. It also appears to have an earlier GE motor. We were originally unsure if this siren would even sound for us since we attempted two different sirens in Wood County in the two months prior to this and they both failed. Thankfully, however, this thing fired right up immediately after the county's pre-test announcement came through the scanner. Perrysburg does operate their sirens independently from the rest of the county, but they still test at the same time and for roughly the same duration. It was taking me a bit longer than anticipated to set up my two tight shots, as it was right about to turn 10:00 when I was getting ready to start recording my wide shot footage. I pretty much had to just put my phone on the holder and get a half assed wide shot with the water tower and siren at the very least in the frame. Of course, the shot was crooked and I had my phone aimed a bit too low, so I did a decent bit of cropping in post to correct those. That is the reason why the wide shot in this video isn't the most crisp. In fact, I didn't cut out any footage from my phone before the siren started. This thing had a little bit of a punch to it, but overall wasn't too loud, even from underneath. Excluding the characteristics I already mentioned, this wasn't really a super special test, but it was nice to finally get a success with a Wood County siren again. Enjoy!

Those will very soon be going on everywhere, but you won't hear it that long. They won't be here after what's coming. Guaranteed. Night coming.
