Dude everytime I came to see this channel is awesome, even if I'm not really interested in the product at first, the attitude, the energy and the good playing activates the G.A.S. in me...
update..... started using the amp with a KAT clone from voltage pickups in London England.....gives the amp a vintage like tone (similar to Brians early tone) while still maintaining the clean sparkle when the volume is down as opposed to the built in booster.... still has the bite in the high end but a warm and sweet characteristic... Can only imagine what it'll sound like with the red special... planing on building my own soon
I love the amplugs and have the ac30 but I would say beware of the build quality. The rotary controls become a bit hit and miss after a while and the jack's plastic enclosure will need taping up after a very short while! Mine is covered in tape. And this is when used with great care and not knocked about at all. great sound, iffy build quality.
No he doesn't. He uses bridge and middle 85 percent of the time, neck middle out of phase for boh rhap, neck and middle out of phase for stone cold crazy and keep yourself alive.
It's not quite 316. It's part It's Late and part Hammer To Fall. I wouldn't be surprised if Edward Van Halen was influenced by It's Late when coming up with 316.
Anybody know if this thing could be sent through another amp rather than a speaker? As in taking the output from the mv50 and sending it through an AC30?
I want that natural wood guitar on the far left. I think it's a Kramer but I can't find it anywhere online. Dagan what guitar is that? How can I get it?
@@DaganWilkin amazing job it is one of the best looking guitars Ive seen in a long time. I spent a long time trying to find one to buy. Now I know its one of a kind!
As much as I would love to have a MV50 BM, to go with my Red Special, the lack of proper pedal support turns me off. Yes, there is a work around by using the line out but that limits you to speaker use. If I were to buy one I would also have to buy a amp for more versatile use. And is it's own speaker, a MV50 needs a separate cabinet. Not exactly a waste of money but Vox really missed a trick with these cab heads. Needs a Blackstar Fly 3 sized amp/cab combo version with proper pedal bypass.
Its plastic. Its nasty. Its awkward to use, difficult to get a decent tone out of (used Strat & PRS). It randomly switches itself off. It sounds awful with my Sennheisers but better with cheap gamer headset ? Its a toy that does the "We Will Rock You" drumbeat for the child in you. After an hour its irritating and in the bin.
Forget the review! The playing on Killer Queen was unbelievable!!
Nu Tube & a VU meter. It’s so Flash Gordon. Dagan, savior of the universe. He’ll save every one of us.

brian mays tone is just so warm
very.. especially on the deep eq setting its hard to pick which setting I like on mine
I love this amp and Ive found a trick for using effects with it...... external treble booster, delay..., noise gate
Your total, untethered joy whilst playing is absolutely amazing mate. I want to get one of these based on that alone, bravo!
Awesome! Might be the ideal Christmas gift for myself this year.
Union jack just flew straight out of my headset ;)

Bought the mv 50 last night lol sounds so beautiful It almost hits EVH Territory
Sounds Great 👍
Awesome as a suggestion Brian uses the bridge & neck pickups for his solos,

I was about to get a Cortex but these look way more fun.
I heard that 316 at the beginning 👀
Yup, heard VH in there

10:24 and a Holdsworth tone as well!!
Nice May chops lad
I'm more interested in that Kramer.

If I remember correctly it's an original '80's Kramer
Yeah it’s my 1987 Kramer Pacer Custom II that I stripped the paint off yeeeaarrrss ago. Looks a treat now!

Great effing tone

You can add an fx loop for a few quid of parts
how would the line out work tried using my noise gate straight in but it adds way more treble. want to run a delay too
Sound good.
To be honest the Fender Tone Master Preset sounds more like Brian's Rig than this 🤷♂
Ite cause there is only the trebel booster, no choruses or flangers with the amp, where as the tonemaster pro has the other effects with it I presume
@@ARMusicOfficial2004 well could be, it's still cool though. ;-)
Sounds absolutely horrendous, captured Brian May’s tone perfectly! 🤘
I bet a steel string would sound Great too, for some slow dirty Blues
FX Loop NOT!!!😢
Dude, I've played hundreds of amps and I finally realized they all sound the same. Just sayin

Wrong guitar.
