@@jasondorsey7110 That is correct sir. I had said in another post someone had put he copied Rorys sound. I replied Sir Brian would be the first to say he got it from Rory very humbly as a young man when asked. Class gentleman.

@@itslikethesamebutdifferent8020 I should clear things up. I mean as a sort of updated Brian May family of amps as they release these new models. Plugin to AC30 combo of sorts would be just great to see as a fan.
That is super cool! Brian May seems like one of the genuinely nicest guys in music, not to mention just a super cool human being. I’d love to just sit in a room and hear him talk about gear, music, and his life. Oh, and these amps are super cool, too! LOL
Very Cool, Thankyou. Proud Vox Valvetronix VT40+ owner here. Such an amazing Amp and so much fun to play through. Very Interested in The Brian May Series. Cheers

The image of Brian May in the Bohemian Rhapsody video, that sound and the guitar hero image was burned into my memory at age ten and utterly determined the direction of my life. I'd love to meet him and shake his hand.
Rory is one of my favourite guitarists of all time and Queen is what first got me into music before I heard rory. This product to me is a tribute to both of them. I'm buying this rn, Love you May and Gallagher
I love Brian May's iconic sound, and wish that the "Vox AmPlug2 Brian May" would exist as a floor pedal where you could add and remove the effects that are typical of Brian's sound. I am convinced that such a pedal would make numerous guitarists happy. With guitaristic greetings from Germany Mic 🙂
As a follow-up on my earlier post: Just received my AmPlug Brian May! 👍 Straight out of the wrapper, batteries (which are included!!) put in, and plugged into our stereo in the living room. Sounds só good.... 😎👍 The stereo FX are really well done (instant Brighton Rock, just couldn't contain myself 🤣) The green channel (regular AC30 crunch tone) itself is just beautiful: I started with tone halfway and gain very low, and it certainly has thát chime you'd expect. And *then* you gradually turn up the gain.... 🤘😎🤘 The red channel (with the phenomenal Trebleboost) brings it to a whole new level, again. Bri-lliant... Obviously when you're going for thát classic Brain May tone, you'll best use singlecoil pickups. Of course it'll work with humbuckers, but you will probably lose some clarity (haven't tried that yet). And the red channel is pretty noisy too - again: I play singlecoils, so that makes sense. I absolutely love it... This is my 5th AmPlug (so far!!), and they are just borderline-ridiculously useful & great to play around with! I've successfully recorded with them before (the Bass plug is so *fat* and punchy!) and this one will undoubtedly do great as well... As a (predominantly) Marshall user, I've been pleasantly surprised repeatedly by the new Vox gear! Recently found a Valvetronix 100W head with 4x12 cab, and it really adds a lot of sonic options... Thanks Vox!!! Can't wait to see what you come up with next 👍😎🙏🙏🦊 And obviously many *many* thanks to Sir Bri as well 😀👍🙏
Really stoked to see these amps!! 😀👍 I'm definitely getting the Amplug, as I've already have a few of those (AC30, Bass, and the brilliant Satriani) and they're incredible sounding.... So I expect nothing less from this red baby 😜👍 The MV amp, however, should - in my opinion - come with a 1x12" cab instead of 1x8"... But that's just me - I have cabs, so just the RedHead will do me 😎🙏
That's cool to hear that you have some of the other Amplug models and like them, because I'm totally thinking about getting this one myself! I think with my BMG Special plugged into it, I should at least get close to that trademark Brian May tone!
My first amp was a XOX AC30 - bought second hand. I am not a professional musician, I am also over seventy. But I still joy music, and play for a hobby. My current amp is a VOX VT 40+. It is a brilliant piece of kit. I feel somewhat loyal to VOX, because they were originally made in Dartford, where I was born. Alright. I would like to also get hold of a Marshall High Wat stack - but where am I going to use it?
Interesting stuff! I got the Vox MV50 Clean as a pedal platform / small backup amp. It's really better than expected and these Brian May signature amps are probably a good option for all who want that sound but have limited money.
I have an MV50 clean, amazing tone, more than loud enough to gig with through a 2x12 or 4x14, BUT there is no reverb or effects loop so no proper way to add one. Vox have you added one to this?
@@RedSpecialSuomi are you sure that the two amps are same except the KAT treble booster?? I own MV50AC with Fryer TB connected, but it does not generate such distorted sound as this UA-cam. I guess MV50BM may have more gain without TB.

Great to have Brian recognized with the Vox sound, would be great to see a full size signature Ac15/30 next 👍🏻
They already did a signature AC30 many years ago. Kind of brittle to use on a live gig without a power soak.
They already did that, the Brian May Vox ac30 amp, I have one.

Don't forget the most important factor in Brian's guitar tone; the sixpence coin!
its coin emulator option can do that, settings are sixpence, us quarter, mexican peso, modern euro and washer found on the curb.
I don't think I'd be able to hold six at once
Has to be a _signature series_ coin at 3 times the price or else it won't work.
