I've been doing this since the beginning. I cannot believe how many health bottles victims have. And they cry that it's family-based. It's only hard as a victim until you learn the game and then it's pretty easy to escape
Honestly if you’re playing family on coms, you should get a 4K 90% of the time. Only solo family players who don’t use mics think family is harder to play
I think it's fine that victims can see poison on bottles. I mean, if Virginia poisons a blood bucket, you can see the poison as family, too (it even says "(poisoned)" when you come close to the bucket, which is a little too much warning). Poisoned items don't deal any damage (as far as I know) and you don't even get a notification if someone gets poisoned from them. The main goal of poisoning health bottles is to make sure victims can't use them, and if they see that little puff of green smoke they won't take it, so your goal of denying heals is still achieved.
Poisoned items deal tick damage depending on if you have toxic cloud level 3 on sissy. You don’t get a notification (but you definitely should). Sissy at the best of times isn’t a viable pick because of her lack of defence comparative to others. Hiding the aura would at least make the risk of her spending time poisoning health bottles (which may or may not be used anyway) would make this strategy even better. You only see the good games where people don’t rush. You have to remember, rushing is meta. The moment grandpa wakes up, the victims are typically upstairs as I’m heading downstairs. Even if I were to poison the inner zone bottles it’s still time consuming, so having the added benefit of hiding the poison aura would be a sensible buff to her. Let’s not forget the fact that there are many infinites that, even as sissy with wireframe, you’ll never catch victims. She needs something going for her, even if it’s as small as not seeing poisoned objects
@@RealAJaymes Infinite loops are an issue for every family member, not just Sissy. I would rather they gave her more poisons in the center of the map, made Toxic Cloud basekit and reworked her lvl 3 upgrades. Maybe make her poison cloud last a bit longer by default, too. Also maybe make Efficient Herbalist speed up the process of poisoning stuff, make it more efficient. But victims should be able to tell if something is poisoned or not, imo. And yes, you should get a notification when someone gets affected by a poisoned item, I agree with that.
If victims can see which bottles are poisoned, then it should highlight victims if they drink a poisoned bottle and the poison effects should be exaggerated (like way more disoriented movement since they actually ingested poison and not have it farted onto them)
no most victims run on adrenaline and consume health bottles without paying attention to the green haze... the perk that "shows" the poison highlights it loudly so they can clearly see the poison that's the balance for the poison. eliminate the health bottle from being used while showing a warning that it's poisoned, balance. You can poison many bottles without using up a single slot of poison, that's really strong. Making the poison invisible is overkill knowing this information. Not complaining about this method. Just telling you why it's balanced the way it already is.
I think it should be a infrequent puff of poison coming out so that if you want to know for certain you have to wait a certain amount of time. Uses up victims time, makes them paranoid about the healing and punishing to those that rush but still gives a way for those who wait to know if it is safe.
Onetime i poisoned all of the health bottles in the basement on nancys house and all three of the remainig victims left the game simultaneously. Mustve been on a team.

If they were to add poison damage by default the other two Lv.3 on Sissy’s tree would be used way more. Sadly no one uses the other two due to this.
I feel like all her abilities in her skill tree need to be reworked into something else and allow poisoning objects (like toolboxes, objectives and bone piles) and bleed effect be base kit.
Yeah, bleed damage should be base kit, but also have a level three ability upgrade that's a buffed version of efficient herbalist that guarantees that poisons aren't used up when poisoning health items, fuses, and valve handles, as well as dropped items.
I like Efficient Herbalist but every time I’ve ran it, it seems like it’s too high risk, low reward. I always end up going back to my Wire Frame, Serrated, Fire Up build then adjust the Savagery/Endurance depending on the map

Left side skill tree since it’s related to cloud effect it should cause one of the following: blind effect OR family radius increase along with hallucinations with voicelines, footsteps and images of family members (trick victims into thinking there is a family nearby) OR reversing keyboard controls (will be super strong so I suggest lowering this to one second) OR deny ability usage from victims for a small amount of time (~10-15 seconds. perfect for guarding objectives, being in cloud will reapply effect). This ability skill tree route is perfect for defensive. Second skill ability in skill tree since it’s related to poison effect duration should be a cough animation like you’ve mentioned or apply an empowered attack that deals more damage when hit after poisoning a victim. Essentially this skill tree route is perfect for chases. Last skill on right since it’s related to gathering herbs should give her more poison slots (+2) and allow her a chance to collect an additional poison from one herb (50% chance). Skill tree is perfect for efficiency in gathering your ability and for poisoning items or objectives.
I think I was the leatherface around 17:30 I don’t remember most of the map cause I was new to trying him but I swear it’s either coincidence or fate 😭
I agree about new players. I tried playing the game on Game pass before it left and was thinking about buying it. I tried out the game after watching a couple guides. I found that some matches were over in under 2 minutes. I would find that when I reached a survivor it was constantly getting stunned and T bagged. Wasn't very funny, plus the trash talk after the game. The game would go about 5 minutes and I thought the game was even only to find 2 survivors camping outside T bagging knowing they will escape if you run after them. Any time I'd run up to a survivor as anybody but leatherface they would spam grapple and no matter how fast I mashed F (even if in other games I never lost a mash contest) I'd never win because of the bug. Super toxic. Games took a while to find a lobby when I played and people wouldn't ready up. I really like the aesthetic of the game and the asymmetrical gameplay while still having a team. Great concepts but I wasn't having fun after a few days of the same thing. That being said, I'm glad to have found your videos though. Keep up the good videos, my dude.

No! This game is seriously lacking in stealth. I’d even go as far as to say sissy should get more of a head up that they have interacted with a poisoned item. Either that or damage over time for poisoned items.
Family Sense for Sissy should reveal all Items that haven't been poisoned. It would be really helpful, especially for new players, if they could see the outline of any item they can poison and hasn't been poisoned yet, that way, choosing a build like this would be more user friendly for new and veteran Sissy players who don't always know where to find the items. Overall, it would be a real beneficial QoL Change IMO. I mean, For sissy it currently reveals all the Fuse and Valve locations + Gen and Car Battery, but she can also poison all the Health Bottles, Hitch Hikers Traps, and with the power option selected; Bone Piles, and Tool Boxes, but None of those things are revealed to her via family sense. All I'm saying is that it would be nice for Sissy players if they could have poison-able objects highlighted for them when they use family sense.
The poison smoke around a health bottle shouldn't be there, I don't think victims should know if a health is poisoned until they use it. It ruins Sissy's chance of poisoning a victim
I agree but it is very rare when a victim accidentally picks up that health before they see poison but gun should definitely buff sissy and her skill tree cause no matter what way u go u cant even get 30 points which doesnt make sense cause she also has the lowest stamina for being able to go through gaps and crawl spaces and the lowest savagery so imo she should have the most skill points
OK, so I figured out how to balance this game out and give the victims a fair chance of winning without actually making the game unbalanced so if people start escaping, they are capable of getting the police allowing the players to sort of get a second chance because the people who died of essentially come back as an officer who had a pistol this is the case that they are towards the end of the game and enough people have died conditions that have to be met And they don’t get anything stronger than a pistol, which does reasonable damage We don’t want it to be too overpowered So basically, it becomes a battle between the killers to manipulate the environment and the police to be able to shoot before they are killed because they have a lower health bar so it’s pretty even one or two slashes will kill an officer, but also one or two bullets will kill a killer. maybe for for like Leatherface
Honestly, I think they should remove the entire cloud but change the colour of the bottle slightly, enough to be able to tell but not enough that they wouldn't use it in the heat of the moment
I just have a small question (New TCM player here), is there a reason why you're swinging/attacking after collecting your poison powders/poisoning the health tonics? Does that cancel the animation or something? (I've been wanting to get more into Family gameplay, it just seems like each family member plays the game SO differently).
Tbh it doesn't mattter because the health bottles are poisoned for the whole game. Regardless victims using them won't make any sense. I get the idea of them being hidden it's more stealthy but nah. The 75% is already an over kill as you can see. Sissy will more than likely get every bottle and still keep her poisons.
That’s very true. It’s just a case of nobody picking the poisons up and receiving damage from your PoT. Sissy could do with some buffs as she lacks sustainable defence, small changes like this could be great for her and change metas 🙂
I think it's absurd that the victims can see the poisoned bottles. Not only do they get a perk to see all traps and locks within a certain range, but they also get the visual cue. It's abundantly clear after the removal of blood trails. This game will always remain pro victim
Victims should not be able to see it, efficient herbalist could be a a top tier perk if that one feature goes away. Victims knowing items are poisoned kinda defeats the purpose of poisoning
Have you played without scout? I have 1,600 hours and playing without it in this current rushing meta typically results in a loss. I have done plenty of non-meta build on the channel if you wanna check them out.
@@RealAJaymes I never use Scout and still win against rushers, Scout is never necessary and I try to avoid using it anyway since everyone is using it as it’s just a boring and skilless perk. I have seen your videos without it and would like to see more video like that, maybe try a stealth build with Chicken Whisperer or a chase build with Fired Up on Cook, just builds that can open more variety.

This is exactly right! You need competent family members and you don’t always get that, which is fine 🙂 some games they’ll rush out when setting this up and it can be stressful, but very worthwhile 🙂
I feel like the Efficient Herbalist perk should’ve been part of Sissy’s ability tree. By replacing either Poison PickUp locations or Generator. Those two are the most inefficient abilities and I feel her ability tree should be reworked to make her more viable. The toxic cloud should be kept as it is the only uniquely best ability perk. Then give her the natural ability to poison the pickup locations or unlocked by going for the Efficient Herbalist perk in her ability tree.
It hasn't been a problem so I don't think it should be changed. If your willing to spend the time poisoning items then it should be undetectable unless you have the perks
They need kunda nerf poisoning. Like with 3 poison he poisoned ALL healing bottles. I can understand poisoning 6 or so. But ALL of them? Seems kinda unfair.

Unfortunately: lobbies take 15 minutes per 5 min games. I’m also very busy and don’t have a lot of time to play multiple games during the day I cannot see the overall account level in pre-game (+ I will always post games with level 10 characters in pre-game, so they’re assumed to be good). If they’re not level 10, I ALWAYS state it during the gameplay. P.S. I would love for the games to be more competitive and for there to be MMR in place, but the game isn’t big enough unfortunately

there’s a perk for it called “clear eyes” that’ll give it a white aura and you can also see green stink dust emitting from it if it’s poisoned either way
There’s a perk that allows you to do that exactly. It’s called Clear Eyes. Though from the txchainsawgame.wiki it tells me it is only for Sonny, Leland, and Connie.

this game is kinda of terrible i play alot of victims and you can combo perks but you can't really combo perks as family which sucks they need to do a better job aka the devs suck at their jobs.

I don't like the fact that family gets a kill as you go over a barricade. It's bad enough with the grapple bullshit. I get hands and Johnny winning most grapples. But Leland ,sonny, or Danny should be able to win most grapples against nancy,sissy,cook, and hh. In that order.
That makes no sense. If you get slammed with a chainsaw in the back before you can get all the way over, you fall on the floor and die. Makes perfect sense.

I just have a small question (New TCM player here), is there a reason why you're swinging/attacking after collecting your poison powders/poisoning the health tonics? Does that cancel the animation or something?
(I've been wanting to get more into Family gameplay, it just seems like each family member plays the game SO differently).

Tbh it doesn't mattter because the health bottles are poisoned for the whole game. Regardless victims using them won't make any sense. I get the idea of them being hidden it's more stealthy but nah. The 75% is already an over kill as you can see. Sissy will more than likely get every bottle and still keep her poisons.
That’s very true. It’s just a case of nobody picking the poisons up and receiving damage from your PoT. Sissy could do with some buffs as she lacks sustainable defence, small changes like this could be great for her and change metas 🙂

That’s generally what happens, and it’s usually them taking 10 minutes sitting downstairs not playing for them to just leave too
they should allow Sissy to apply poison on items 50 % faster when this perk is level 3 imo

I think it's absurd that the victims can see the poisoned bottles. Not only do they get a perk to see all traps and locks within a certain range, but they also get the visual cue. It's abundantly clear after the removal of blood trails. This game will always remain pro victim
for this build i like to run faster poison collection, it helps if you aren’t getting efficient herbalist value
I feel like all her skills are terrible. They should all be integrated as her base kit and give her a rework with new and impactful skills.
Victims should not be able to see it, efficient herbalist could be a a top tier perk if that one feature goes away. Victims knowing items are poisoned kinda defeats the purpose of poisoning

Have you played without scout? I have 1,600 hours and playing without it in this current rushing meta typically results in a loss. I have done plenty of non-meta build on the channel if you wanna check them out.
@@RealAJaymes I never use Scout and still win against rushers, Scout is never necessary and I try to avoid using it anyway since everyone is using it as it’s just a boring and skilless perk. I have seen your videos without it and would like to see more video like that, maybe try a stealth build with Chicken Whisperer or a chase build with Fired Up on Cook, just builds that can open more variety.

This is exactly right! You need competent family members and you don’t always get that, which is fine 🙂 some games they’ll rush out when setting this up and it can be stressful, but very worthwhile 🙂
You say you have to keep an eye on the F key to grapple but why? The way you look down but you never use to do that.

Hey Ayjames, I suggest trying Sissy’s ability perk to poison tool spots with Efficient Herbalist perk to see how well they pair up together?
I feel like the Efficient Herbalist perk should’ve been part of Sissy’s ability tree. By replacing either Poison PickUp locations or Generator. Those two are the most inefficient abilities and I feel her ability tree should be reworked to make her more viable. The toxic cloud should be kept as it is the only uniquely best ability perk.
Then give her the natural ability to poison the pickup locations or unlocked by going for the Efficient Herbalist perk in her ability tree.
It hasn't been a problem so I don't think it should be changed. If your willing to spend the time poisoning items then it should be undetectable unless you have the perks

They need kunda nerf poisoning. Like with 3 poison he poisoned ALL healing bottles. I can understand poisoning 6 or so. But ALL of them? Seems kinda unfair.

lobbies take 15 minutes per 5 min games. I’m also very busy and don’t have a lot of time to play multiple games during the day
I cannot see the overall account level in pre-game (+ I will always post games with level 10 characters in pre-game, so they’re assumed to be good). If they’re not level 10, I ALWAYS state it during the gameplay.
P.S. I would love for the games to be more competitive and for there to be MMR in place, but the game isn’t big enough unfortunately

there’s a perk for it called “clear eyes” that’ll give it a white aura and you can also see green stink dust emitting from it if it’s poisoned either way
There’s a perk that allows you to do that exactly. It’s called Clear Eyes. Though from the txchainsawgame.wiki it tells me it is only for Sonny, Leland, and Connie.
Victims literally have a perk to be able to see this , it should be only visable when using this perk

this game is kinda of terrible i play alot of victims and you can combo perks but you can't really combo perks as family which sucks they need to do a better job aka the devs suck at their jobs.

I don't like the fact that family gets a kill as you go over a barricade. It's bad enough with the grapple bullshit. I get hands and Johnny winning most grapples. But Leland ,sonny, or Danny should be able to win most grapples against nancy,sissy,cook, and hh. In that order.
