In this address that I spent my entire college life in, I must say I'm impressed with the changes that this developer is bringing to the location. Setapak has been around for very long and it's reflected within the old infrastructure. Roads are narrow, townplanning is inconsistent, traffic control is bad but it's still a very popular location due to it's connection to KL City Centre.
Then you have this developer coming in to transform the location. Well the condominium component is somewhat similar but their extra effort of contributing to the community is amazing. They built a sports center before the whole township is completed. For their adjacent project, they completed the lake garden before the tower is erected. If profit is the main priority, it would have all be condominium tower after tower.
Also something about the developer who just recently won award not for their main product line, but their affordable home series. This is so mind blowing because it's just so counter intuitive. A compliance based product is design and built so well until it wins award. We can then gauge their principles for the home they build.
Overall I really enjoy what I am seeing. This project somewhat felt out of place to the address, but I guess this is why the community needs it more.

This is the most entertaining review episode on Curvo residence and SkyArena township.
I was amazed with the fact that most, if not all of their project JMBs chose to retain them as the management. This probably speak volume about their after sale service.
It'll be great if you can review the Skysanctuary in detail in the future. If I remember correctly, we'll reach the first milestone of Skysanctuary very soon, i.e Q4 2023, which will be marked by their integrated co-living space (Skyblox) and their managed neighbourhood retail park (Sama Square).

To be fair that area was built at least 30 40 years for all the landed. It used to be quiet and less traffic until all these high rises came into picture. Not to mention the land in Ascenda Bennington and curvo is belongs to government that is meant to only building a park and a sport centre initially. Until someone managed to convert it into another high rise condo. And only a small portion is converted into sport centre.
Blame PBT and Gomen.. they are too greedy, just think about money money money.. pity for setapak folks.
Hi Sean, actually I have go explore this project Curvo, but at the same time I go explore Vesta project beside The Valley (new launched two mths ago) at setiawangsa both are same developer. I plan to buy a property for investment purpose. (Curvo 900sqft++, Vesta 700sqft++) These two project has their own attraction. For the location & the road Vesta is the best & when u come out from vesta opposite is Aeon which convenience as well. But there is many kampung home style that I concern. So for Curvo I feel more likely bcoz of the design/township for living lifestyle & they will develop a commercial at the sales gallery which will be convenience in future. But the road is narrow & jam due to school is opposite curvo. There is a pasar pagi also.
I'm hesitant about which one I want.
Sean has already shared that this project is more toward ownstay purpose, as it is slightly more expensive than surrounding properties. Due to higher monthly instalment, your rental will be less competitive. However, it still depends on your investment strategy, maybe you can have low instalment by paying more upfront downpayment. I don't know how much vesta is selling and not familiar with Setiawangsa, but on paper it seems to be more promising due to potential MRT3 within walking distant (again, take it as pinch of salt, because it is not finalised yet).

If the sport arena is open for the residents then it would be a great place to live in especially for those who are active & like to exercise regularly. Honestly beside the sport arena, Bennington Residence is better especially with their 2 units of roof top 3 levels storey of gyms, yoga rooms & many events halls & rooms. Crazy man.
i think the sport centre is open to all.. need to book.. the field condition looks so bad btw.. so sad with this kind of facilities..

How does Curvo compare to Edgewood? The layout are pretty same but the price difference is quite substantial
Edgewood is closer to the social and affordable housing scheme while Curvo is not. That’s the first difference lah. There are more details to the architectural treatments and masterplan design as well.

The traffic congestion to bulatan pahang is still the same since forever, non of the ADUN is doing anything about it and more condos is still building surrounding the area.
No ADUN in KL.
While MP doesnt have authority.
The authority is DBKL, under menteri wilayah persekutuan under federal govt.

Msia’s problem from the beginning, poor township and city planning. And then new development takes place by deforestation instead of redeveloping old townships and kampungs ..interested to see skyblox though

for Setapak area i not recommend to buy for Own Stay, if for renting out and investment i prefer buy at genting klang setapak area, there are more near the TARC University. for own stay i not prefer because the setapak nearest only KLCC there and cheras area. but most the job Opportunity is at
