We don’t have Javelina in AR. What are they can you eat them?
They are a mammal that is not even related to the pig family. The small females are delicious. The males (regardless of size), and the larger females taste like they smell…..bad.
I cant believe you guys could miss a target that big at that range with that bow! You get a bad case o buck fever or something?

BloodRings should be going to sharpening in 2-3 weeks. Around June 1 they should be available.
As a newbie to bow hunting, would it be worth having one of those buzz cut turkey points if you were going to do a log of snake hunting?
If you’re doing a lot of snake hunting with a bow I would recommend an extremely durable head. If you’re talking about one of the huge cutting diameter turkey heads, they will likely break after the first shot into the ground. We used our broadheads (Tuffhead) and we were able to use the same one for 3 days of hunting.

Can be done and a high percentage shot everytime are two different things. These Javelina are so jumpy that we wouldn’t dare try to anchor one in the head at the speed that they move.
