Only stumbled across this channel last night. Blast from the past regards Oaks. I knew the place had been given a revamp & I believe is run by Colin the ex body builder/door man.
Anyway, just cool seeing your family training. You are damn strong my man. 80kg & chucking weight about I only wished I'd been able to. That log was becoming dialled real quick...awesome.
Watched your deadlift vid with your dad as well. You & your brother are clearly Pacer's boys. I remember his training partner at Oak's as well. Both still units & still training together.
Your brother is super strong. Sounds like he's on the up in UK strongman. I'm sure he'll feature on Big Loz's YT channel in not to distant future. I see his coach often feature on Big Loz, at the big Giant's Live comps.
Had my best lifts ever in Oaks. Not on any of your levels, but got me reminiscing.
Be interesting to do a feature on your old man's achievements in strength & brawn.

What are your thoughts on more fighters strength training? I think alot of them good benefit from it, seems like you have a big strength advantage against most featherweights
I'm not too sure, I've trained with a ton of guys who don't lift weights and they're plenty strong, but I've always lifted since I was a kid so it's just something I've always enjoyed doing

A little bit, but I don't lift heavy in camp, more power work but it definitely gives me confidence in my strength
