Madeira, Calhau da Lapa. A place with dwellings dug into the rock.

Calhau da Lapa is located in Campanario, approx 20 minutes by car from the centre of Funchal.
Calhau da Lapa is a piece of land by the ocean, located under a high cliff. There is also pier and a waterfall. It is a small cove where fishermen have once made small houses in the rocks.
The path to Calhau da Lapa offers amazing views. The start of path is wide and comfortable, but end is very steep.
