Great game of course. But you really need a light gun to really have fun. It's not your fault if course but having the original hardware for this game at least really adds to the experience. I have an area for older consoles with a really nice Sony 27" CRT TV where I have the Saturn,PS1, Colecovision ECT hooked up to it. I'll have our 18 year old cousin and 14 year old niece play two player light gun games sometimes just so they can get an idea of what it was like to play those games in an arcade. It's a real shame that older light guns don't work on modern TVs but the PS3 does have some good shooters with the Move controllers so that's not bad.
@@kellinwinslow1988 Yeah it's much better with a light gun. I almost bought one on eBay but I stopped myself 😕. Playing on a CRT just pops more too. Maybe it's just the nostalgia. Sounds like you have a great setup!
@@derrickthegatorriverboat6993I was lucky in that I got a Saturn when it came out so I had that and a bunch of light gun games with guns. But it wasn't until about 10 years ago that I decided to start setting up a separate area for older stuff. It took awhile but I just figured it was a good way to have the younger generation see what games were like 30 or 40 years ago.
@@kellinwinslow1988 Yeah, Im ashamed to say the Sega Saturn wasn't on my radar when it first came out. I was still rockin' N64. Not many of my friends was interested either, especially cuz the PlayStation was on the horizon.
@@derrickthegatorriverboat6993That's not really your fault. Sega did a terrible job when they released the Saturn. The marketing was bad and they had burned people with the 32X. Everyone wanted an N64 which was understandable. And the PS1 had so many games it was the clear choice for most gamers. Plus it was $100 less than the Saturn so yeah. There was a brief time in 96' when the Saturn was neck and neck with the PS1 when they released Nights,Sega Rally, Virtua Cop ECT. But as soon as Resident Evil and Final Fantasy 7 came out for the PS1 it was over. It's sad because Panzer Dragoon Saga,which is on the Super X5,is one of the greatest RPGs ever made and no one played it. By the time Sega got their act together with the Dreamcast it was too little too late.

If you have tried playing a PS1 or Saturn game that has multiple discs how do you switch discs when you have to? I'm sure I'll fool around with it but if you figure it out that would be great.
