I’m grateful for my elective abortion everyday. I have a chance at a fulfilling and intentional life. I will have family on my terms when I’m ready, if I’m ever ready.
If you don’t want women to get abortions- make the other options more feasible. Do something about the cost of living, the cost of education, the cost of childcare, the tendency for there to be discrimination against women in the workforce, maternity leave, comprehensive sex ed and more.
If you want to be pragmatic and moral- work with people to achieve things that would motivate women to chose something other than abortion. Not use the government to bully, track, harass, and invade women’s lives.
