Ran into Stefan with my friends last friday on a night out. What a nice genuine guy who didn’t mind having a chat with us for a solid 20-30 mins as we were waiting to get into the bar. All love!!

If you drive like 2 hours north of Stockholm ... not far from Gävle along the coast there is a place called ”Rullsand”. It has one of Swedens most underrated sandy beaches, and is actually a hidden gem even for many swedes. It’s an amazing place and you almost feel like you’re in the french riviera... almost lol. Btw I’m not talking about a small beach, but a long one (we’re talking about kms/miles).
You also have the medium sized Furuvik Zoo not far away.
If you ever have a weekend free and the wheather allows it... you have to visit the place. But try to be there early in the morning or later in the afternoon/evening to find a parking lot.

Great video as usual, but a little surprised you haven’t discovered all the gems on my island, Södermalm 😁. Tantolunden has a nice spot with a sand beach and even palms, Långholmen has a great little beach, Rålambshovsbadet, a great beach, all in the very centre of Stockholm.

Sweden in summer is magical! One of my cousins lived in the Archipelago and we needed a boat to get there. It was a beautiful place and the water simply sparkled. As for Stockholm, I love that city, and the phrase used for tourism a few years ago, 'Beauty on Water', couldn't be more true. One place you should visit is Eksjö. The lake is beautiful as is the whole area, and the Statshotel has (or had, not sure today) entertainment on the weekends. And of course, I have cousins who live there too!

I was in Hässelby Strand in 2018 and it was so nice out there. But the lake was pretty cold both times i went to swim so i didn't swim for too long. And i bet to the natives the water was nice and warm, but for me that water was ice cold

Come out to Värmdö. We got some amazing spots here. For example, there's a rope beneath the Djurö Bridge, for the daring of course ;)
Also, moose meat is one of the best tasting meats if cooked properly. Perhaps the meatball flavors hid the moose flavor a bit.

You should try the boatride woth an guide to the viking island Birka too. There is a guide that tells you a lot of history of all the islets and islands at the way to Birka too. Or if you like "räkor" you should try a "räkkryssning" futher away from STHLM and to the islands in the outer "skärgård".

Been to Fjäderholmarna once only. Pretty, but sadly the beautiful rocks were full of pieces of broken glassbottles. Had to watch out when sitting or lying on them. Never understood people that goes to a nice place and leaves it full of garbage, bottles and stuff.

Grinda, Sandhamn, Öja are some pearls in Stockhom archipelago.
Further North in in Sweden “Höga kusten” you have Trysunda, Ulvöhamn, Alnö and Smitingen among other nice places to se
On the West coast you find Gothenburg archipelago (Brännö, Galterö, Vrångö… Rörö). The west coast also have Marstrand, Skärhamn, Smögen, and the more distant Kosteröarna and Väderöarna (the weather islands)
Also I forgot to say Skåne have multiple summer pearls of course.. to many to mention them all!!

I was there, it's nice islet, but for me nothing special. Maybe it's a good thing for dating, just to impress a girl or a guy, but financially it is not a very cheap place. If someone just wants to go to the island he has to pay 150 (15 $), plus there is food and drink to pay for. So one day can cost more than 500 or 1000 crowns if you are a real gentleman :)
But yes this is an island for one day in a month to visit, it's a cool place to hang out with friends and get away from the city noise a bit.

@@latjolajban81 SL card doesn't work here, it's private boat who transport all visitors there. it's kind of good and bad thing, it's good that not everyone will come there, and it's bad that it's expensive, I mean it's not that expensive, but there's nothing special about spending a crazy day there. Especially during this Corona situation. It’s good to spend the day with a girlfriend and a friend for lunch and that’s it.

As often I’m a bit baffled by the choices you make, thinking you need better inside tips from older Stockholmers who are actually from the city.
Fjäderholmarna’s cooler features is the islands fish and shrimp smokery that deliveres to all over town, as well as some local artisans whi blow glass etc (not like Skansen only turist stuff).
And there are good round cliffs to swim from if you just ask.
Hornsbergs strand is a last resort for swimming in the city due to alot of kids from the outer ”förort” coming in and leaving their trash everywhere and playing loud music, very much a recent attept that whole area, can’t imagine why you’d chose that when there are SO MANT blissful places in the city, thar aren’t those horrid recent boardwalks (an imported phenomenon far from the natural beauty of this archipelagic city)..?
If you ever need some serious insider advice around this town let me know man.
I feel like you’re missing out on the better stuff, but appreciate the enthusiasm.
