Lived in Roy and worked in Ogden Recruiting duty. Not to bad. I think Roy is much worse with the construction. I'm back East now, but hope I make it back west eventually. Loved the challenging hikes and the country side part not so much the busy rural areas. Thanks for the tour even it's after I lived there for a year. heh God Bless.
I was born and raised in Ogden and this video doesn't show a lot of the more slummy parts of the city. Still a good video though, which highlights some good parts. Ogden is probably one of the most diverse cities in Utah and would be a good place for a California transplant. It's also one of the most affordable cities in the state and Weber State University is an affordable college.
@@lilycat1694 Just off 24th st. I think they have a office in the federal building on 25th st. also. My video on 25th st Ogden has some video footage of the federal building
There are areas of the town that show up on crime statistics. Just a few miles away you have some fantastic cities like north ogden, south ogden, west haven, hooper, riverdale
Good lord, I’ve lived in Ogden/N Ogden for the past 20 years. Crime, hardly. Number 5 of Utah cities, even the most dangerous city is nothing compared to other states as far as crime.
@@gnite4649 last year i was paying 1600 for a 3bd 3bd for a townhome. Required a 1600.00 deposit. Year before that i was paying 900.00 for a 1 bd 1 bd basement ran by a slumlord. No deposit. This is all Millcreek Utah which is in Salt Lake County.
Well it usto be great now it's going up big time! My home worth $80,000 6 years ago now $250,000 so yeah! Get offers in the mail every day some times many! 😂😂😂😂😂😂

I have one question why did they take the river out? I’m so happy about the hotel being gone
Thanks for the tour of Ogden! It is one city I have not been to in Utah!
Any time!
Loved the tour. Looking to get out of California. This is a big possibility, thanks so much 🤙

Keep thinking that, it’s already crowded enough.
You are an idiot.
We lived in Ogden for 20 years. Have relocated to Louisiana to be near family. Our time in Ogden was great!
So cool!
But, what about quakes? How often do you experience those? I just heard Salt Lake Valley had one that really shock hard.
We had a quake last year in magna.
Tips! Check out the air bnb monthly prices around 7-1300 get you decent place .
How big of a place does $1,300 get you?
I live in ogden and I really like it

is there new construction in Ogden? if so what's the price range.
Majority of the new construction is in the surrounding cities to Ogden, like North Ogden, Farr West, Pleasant View, West Haven, Hooper, etc
Or harrisville their all connected! Mostly now building high rise apartments!
How is it for people trying to move to Utah as renters? Deposit etc
There are rentals in the area, and new apartments going up now. Deposits in general, are usually the same amount as the rent.
What’s a rough estimate for rent?
