So happy I got to participate in my first rumble weekend at the same time this mod came out. That's amazing work you've done for the shiny hunting community! I haven't unlocked it yet, but I'm gonna work on it and try to find myself some shinies! In the end I'm just happy that my favorite Pokemon (banette) is now in the game : )

3:40 That happened to me once while I was hunting for a shiny Cubone on Moon. I ended getting a shiny Khangaskan after being slept around 20 minutes. I woke up, catch it and went to sleep again. XD

Do a snom gauntlet where you train a shiny snom all the way up to level 100 just by catching other snoms

This mod is godlike cant believe this actually exists Matt! Thanks for the tiresome work you put into this making this a reality... This is gonna help evolve the Rumble Weekend scene to those who didnt have access to the game and im sure to those who almost practically had the full dex of standard shinies. Can't wait to get this installed on my Wii U or possible get my save file over to dolphin and mod it there for next Rumble Weekend!

I can't wait for the next rumble weekend tbh, I played a little afterwards as well, and I found a shiny grimer just trying to ride the collection of question marks on this new save file :D (Which is another thing! I couldn't immediately start hunting cause my dolphin save didn't transfer to my wii! Next weekend I'll have more pure hunting time!)

First rumble weekend/shiny community event I ever participated in. Had to play the game from scratch starting on saturday and managed to get 7 shinies throughout the weekend.
Muscle memory kicked in hard for me on this game, because I accidentally got rid of one shiny by going to the terminal and not finishing the stage. Luckily, this dunsparce that evaded me returned a half hour later so I didn't completely lost out on it.
Lastly a question:
Sword and Shield finally got me going on hunting shinies and recently got really interested in all the community events you are participating in (like the safari week, tri shiny and this rumble weekend). How do you find all these events, is there a specific community that organises these?
I've never played rumble before but I'm working on installing the weekend edition wad on my wii because it looks super fun!

Wow! This looked really fun to me so I decided to give it a try and I got a freaking rayquaza!!! It was actually my target and I got it in under 50 runs after finding only a shuppet. Can’t wait til next rumble weekend! Edit: I also just found a freaking shiny regigigas!!!!! (Also my target)

Ok this isn’t related to rumble but this has happened twice to me so in gold I was looking for a mareep and before I found one I found a shiny rattata and then I as hunting for magneton in emerald and found a shiny voltorb lol

I was at the stream for shiny clampearl
Considering how Spinda works in this game for spot patterns, If I had to guess, Shinies also use the PID thing and if they do theyre very likely 1/8192, Multiplayer might increase odds and ly theory it could be like adding rerolls for more players so at max maybe a 4/8192 with 4 players for shiny odds.
Right, I've looked in memory at a Spinda's PID, and it uses the exact same spot pattern algorithm as the main series games! Something interesting we've noticed is that all Shiny Spindas you get on the same save file will have the same spot pattern, and upon closer inspection, every shiny you find in the wild has the same PID value on that save file, but it appears that certain characteristics like the Pokemon's gender and trait are thankfully calculated separately from this.
I also found a value that is likely the equivalent of a trainer ID/secret ID, and Pokemon from afar (from the recruit point) and from other consoles have a different value for that!
I'm pretty much in total agreement with you right now on how the shiny odds work, but there is still a lot more digging I'm going to have to do to verify it!
@@AbsolBlogsPokemon If I had to guess, The Trainer ID/Secret ID thing is what determines the PID for shiny. If so, that would mean that perhaps the Amount of unique PIDs could be lower in Rumble if only 1 PID was shiny due to the Spinda Pattern Thing.
@@AbsolBlogsPokemon so heres something Im curious now if Theres a set batch of pids that the game uses. A likely thing to try would to have a Spinda Only Version of a stage to test and see if Spindas outiede of shiny have consistently matching patterns.
