A little bit Lore heavy when you start, but the combat and characters soon take over and sweep you along. And it's not as time intensive as Genshin. Already looking forward to more on this game! even people who dont like gacha games should try this gmae, because Star Rail and Genshin are not "agressive" with their monetization.
After a very quick intro to the gacha system, the game NEVER puts a notification on your screen again, i bet there are people that even forget the system exists.
i bet if this was a EA game, every 5min this game would open a window on your face to remind you to pull.

I just learned that Belgium has banned this game on PS5.
This video made me want to at least try the game. And again this crap country is preventing me from having anything. You'd think they leave you alone after taking 55% of your end of year bonus and about 40% of your monthly income.
Are loot boxes banned in Belgium?

@@davidedds6562 I will say, HSR is much more F2P friendly than Genshin. I've never felt like I've NEEDED to spend to get what I want. Never had to deal with customer support though, so can't comment on that one

This a gacha game by the same studio as genchin, evade it as the plague, its an addiction based game that becomes a part time job after 40 hours of gameplay, as someone who escaped genchin i would highly suggest you dont download this game, it isnt free you pay with your soul

If you don't want every single character you will be completely fine.
Honkai star rail feels better in my opinion.
Story with less wall of text , less exploration, more endgame activities, faster daily missions.
The weapon banner has 75% instead of 37,5% and if you don't get the weapon the first time, the second time is 100% .
Everything is better in Honkai star rail.

Those were part time jobs, and if they exist in honkai too it doesnt make it any less of a grind hell hole gacha
@@sinogmemes559 Well, it took you below 5 minutes to complete all daily mission so it's not a big deal. For example today my daily missions were :
1 picture - 10 seconds
Destroy 3 objects - 30 seconds
Use 1 food - 10 seconds
Complete today's mission - 1 minute.
Total: below 2 minutes

Unlike day 1/old players (Including unlucky ones), there aren't much upcoming limited characters that can fare against her well, and most of the best limited sustains just passed. Lastly, F2P options are gonna be a bit tedious to grind for. So you get the point.
