The anticipation is most certainly there. But on the flip side it seems a bit messy & unorganized because she jumps from one genre to the next. Miley's tours are incredibly short & I think that's what is hendering her the most because w/ out lengthy tours to promote her albums & eras her fans don't get the opportunity to see her live as much. As for Miley & her looks she changes due to the era she's in for example Plastic Hearts era was the mullet & makeup now in her stripped back pop era it's the big hair & revealing clothes which I think revealing clothes has always been part of Miley's aesthetic. I also think the big hair is inspired by her Godmother Dolly Parton but anyways. Miley is a legacy artist & I do understand why Miley Cyrus doesn't like to tour especially since she's been doing it since she was a kid. And she's established in her career so at this point she could very well be a nostalgia act if she wants to be. Overall I think Miley's had some bright spots in her career recently & with Bangerz BUT all of her eras in between Bangerz & Endless Summer Vacation have been very small & it's only amongst her fanbase NOT the mainstream IMHO (In My Humble Opinion). Also Miley benefits from being a Disney act so most of her fans know her from Hannah Montana. She's the most versatile out all of her Disney contemporaries & I can't wait to see what she does next. 😊

I think what kept her from touring is anxiety attack on stage that happened 2 years ago. She almost died, tried to call for help and the friend she called passed away. She really suffers during the performance, cried ang basically dropped all the performances, touring after that.

I've never managed to be a Miley Cyrus fan, but I always argued that she has a unique deep voice that you really don't get from anyone else you hear on radio, and I'm glad she adds that variety, though I always felt like her voice didn't get the chance to stand out with that characeristic until her more recent songs. There is also something very authentic to her public presence. I remember her rebellious phase where she wanted to surround herself with "real" people, and not hollywood fakes, and in my eyes, that came across as very despreate and pick-me energy back when, but the fact that she was likely pushing for the image she wanted even though it at the time made me cringe, is a version of authenticity that makes me think of her inconsistencies as a natural growth. She seems to be happy to express this authenticity of growth and that has gained value with how many years she has spent being in the public eye doing that.
I like the song but at the moment I feel like Miley’s suffering a bit from some overexposure. I’m not really sure if it’s her fault though considering no one on her team including her didn’t foresee the success that was flowers, but I feel like this song was either not really meant to be a huge smash or she should’ve waited until after flowers finally drops off the charts for it to have its moment. I like the song though personally I think it’s cute and simple and always enjoy new Miley
I think she did a good job of not exposing herself too much during this era. She’s only given 3 flowers performances in total and only two of them have been shown to the public. She’ll be fine.
If she has to wait for Flower to drop off the charts, it’s probably a year later. And yeah, Miley and her team definitely had no expectation for Flowers. She just enjoys making music now without concern about charts or fame.
I don't care what she does as long as she's good and sober and happy. Miley reminds me of my sister, who was a massive fan of hers during the hannah montana era into the bangerz era -- my sister died in 2021 due to heart complications from drug use . Miley is only a few years older than she would be, and I see my sister in Miley and I like to imagine that if she had lived, she could've grown and become the kind of person miley now is. Miley is free from the expectations of fans like us, she is free from disney, she is free from her father, and she's free from chris hemsworth now too! i don't care who she is or becomes, as long as she is alive. people don't realize just how close a lot of these artists came to losing their lives to the problems fame breeds. adele too. she has lost so much and she still continues on -- miley and adele have the sheer power of their voices and their love for what they do keeping them going. i don't care if miley is different every album or if we don't see adele for years between albums. i'm 19 and i'm just looking forward to what i'm hoping is a long lifetime of following their careers and their growth and just being grateful that they are alive with us - adele so easily could have been sucked down the EXACT same path as amy & i am grateful to see them in their 30s and living their lives without their fans. i think it's the most healthy way to live your life at their level of fame i do agree that miley's live performances are key to her image. as recent as heart of glass & her grammy performance, sure, but even going back further to her Malibu/See you again acoustics. Her wrecking ball performances.Her touring as hannah. It all has built her up to be a successful "event" artist who people will beg and beg to play at their awards shows. I used to be upsessed with miley up until Bangerz. I find it hard to connect with her as she’s constantly completely changing her sound and image. It’s hard for me to know who she is. Especially once I connect she becomes something else.
Actually she is still Miley. The Miley that doesn’t want to be labeled on a box. She doesn’t change, but has always been like that. Her looks or style or genres are just her experiments with music as she is a musician.
I think Miley is doing exactly what she needs to do. She’s insanely strategic n current even if people don’t get it at the moment
Actually I think it's smart reminds me a bit of MJ's marketing. You don't wanna oversaturate yourself give just enough to make ppl want more and you have to reinvent youself to keep up with the times

I've never managed to be a Miley Cyrus fan, but I always argued that she has a unique deep voice that you really don't get from anyone else you hear on radio, and I'm glad she adds that variety, though I always felt like her voice didn't get the chance to stand out with that characeristic until her more recent songs.
There is also something very authentic to her public presence.
I remember her rebellious phase where she wanted to surround herself with "real" people, and not hollywood fakes, and in my eyes, that came across as very despreate and pick-me energy back when, but the fact that she was likely pushing for the image she wanted even though it at the time made me cringe, is a version of authenticity that makes me think of her inconsistencies as a natural growth.
She seems to be happy to express this authenticity of growth and that has gained value with how many years she has spent being in the public eye doing that.

I like the song but at the moment I feel like Miley’s suffering a bit from some overexposure. I’m not really sure if it’s her fault though considering no one on her team including her didn’t foresee the success that was flowers, but I feel like this song was either not really meant to be a huge smash or she should’ve waited until after flowers finally drops off the charts for it to have its moment. I like the song though personally I think it’s cute and simple and always enjoy new Miley
I think she did a good job of not exposing herself too much during this era. She’s only given 3 flowers performances in total and only two of them have been shown to the public. She’ll be fine.
If she has to wait for Flower to drop off the charts, it’s probably a year later. And yeah, Miley and her team definitely had no expectation for Flowers. She just enjoys making music now without concern about charts or fame.

I don't care what she does as long as she's good and sober and happy. Miley reminds me of my sister, who was a massive fan of hers during the hannah montana era into the bangerz era -- my sister died in 2021 due to heart complications from drug use . Miley is only a few years older than she would be, and I see my sister in Miley and I like to imagine that if she had lived, she could've grown and become the kind of person miley now is. Miley is free from the expectations of fans like us, she is free from disney, she is free from her father, and she's free from chris hemsworth now too! i don't care who she is or becomes, as long as she is alive. people don't realize just how close a lot of these artists came to losing their lives to the problems fame breeds.
adele too. she has lost so much and she still continues on -- miley and adele have the sheer power of their voices and their love for what they do keeping them going. i don't care if miley is different every album or if we don't see adele for years between albums. i'm 19 and i'm just looking forward to what i'm hoping is a long lifetime of following their careers and their growth and just being grateful that they are alive with us - adele so easily could have been sucked down the EXACT same path as amy & i am grateful to see them in their 30s and living their lives without their fans. i think it's the most healthy way to live your life at their level of fame
i do agree that miley's live performances are key to her image. as recent as heart of glass & her grammy performance, sure, but even going back further to her Malibu/See you again acoustics. Her wrecking ball performances.Her touring as hannah. It all has built her up to be a successful "event" artist who people will beg and beg to play at their awards shows. (p.s. i'd kill for a miley superbowl)
