This is the best thing since It’s a Southern Thing! I love all the new people, with enough of our favorites to keep it home. Little does the new guy know, Bless your heart isn’t always nice! He’ll learn! Loving this, can hardly wait for more episodes!!!
The comment from Lori was the absolute best, and the comment she made was 'spot on'. When I first moved to the south, every time I was introduced to anyone, one of the first things I was asked was, "have you found a home church yet?"
You know what is funny? I've lived in the south all my life and have never been asked that and I'm not a churchgoer. Apparently us southerners only want to "save" non-southerners! lol
@@MemphisTiger I worked for two different Christian TV stations in Florida as an Engineer, but it wasn't brought up. A few did mention a special even at their church, but they didn't ask where I attended.
Nooooo....I was just getting into it and suddenly the episode was over! And it's a cliffhanger! What's next for little Mason? Will Danny Denny share his dark secrets? Will Captain Rick save the mission? Will the smoldering tension between Hannah and Tucker continue to burn? I just can't wait for the next episode!!!
Sadly, I've had to stay away from my local Denny's when I found the one server who didn't understand, not when I mentioned about cross-contamination, but when I just mentioned my allergy to tree nuts and peanuts.

I cannot believe it! I was just thinking yesterday that I wondered if y’all had scrapped the project because I hadn’t heard anything about it. So excited!
AWESOME JOB It's a great "fish out of water" premise. Just wait until he learns about the SEC, Mardi Gras and Chick-fil-A (Collision Church with its laser light show; that hit the nail on the head 🤣)
This is absolutely hilarious - more than worth the wait :) Also, I must be getting old, because I distinctly heard a grandmotherly voice in my head say "Oh, you poor child" when Tucker responds to "Bless your little heart" with "thank you."
This was so much fun! Fast paced but already the whole cast are individuals and unique. Talia is always spot on with her expressions/reactions. Looking forward to the next episodes. Well done, y'all!
Great start to the new series y'all! You knocked it out the park! Seriously hope this takes off...I would definitely be down to binge watch 30-40 minute episodes of this show! Can't wait for the next one!
I was born and raised in NJ and we came down here a long time ago to TX. I asked my mom when I asked why there was churches everywhere and she said “Ricky, we’re in the Bible Belt, you didn’t know that?”
This needs to be a recurring thing. I am invested in the characters and want to see the growth of the city guy. It's like Doc Hollywood only more southern.
You guys, this is too good!! The writing is superb--way better than higher-budget shows and better than most low-budget shows too!! You know how good it was?-I got all the jokes and they applied to my small town in the north!
OMG!!!!!! 🤯🎉🤓 I'm hooked! This is beyond awesome (yeah, don't know what word would work here...)! 😎😎. I'm going to be a basket case until Episode 2! 😵💫🤣
I produced and directed a live newscast at Ft. Greely in the '70s. It was a low power AFRTS facility, and the talking heads could be a real PITA! They would get out of their seats during Actualites, and shadow box, or doo other stupid things. They were often late to get back to their seats, making me look bad. I decided to scare the hell out of them. The studio wasn't air conditioned, so they did the news in a shirt and the jacket from their dress uniforms, but the desk hid that they were just wearing boxers. I rewired their off the air monitor to the preview circuit. The jumped up to goof off when the next Actuality started. Then one saw himself in his underwear on what he thought was a live feed. He shrieked and ran back to his seat. They didn't even try to behave on the weekend, so their monitor showed a fishing show from a Fairbanks TV station, so they had no idea how they looked. I broke them of all their bad on air habits! It didn't hurt that a Two Star General came to the base when I was promoted, to pin my uniform with my SP4 pins and to have photos taken of it. Never piss off your engineer! 😁
Great production values, great casting across the board. Very promising and encouraging to see a group o’ pros outside the Hollywood bubble getting entertaining productions done. Looking forward to future episodes!
Boy that took me back to a community cable TV station that I worked at back in the 80's. We covered stories like the new lemon aid stand. I can't wait for part two.
Watch Part 2 here: ua-cam.com/video/TVp2YxPyQx0/v-deo.html
Loved this. Matt trying to hide the food that is evidently not his was great! And Talia’s annoyance at the new “yankee” was spot on.
Talia's facial expressions are always spot on. Love her

I can’t wait! I laughed my behind off when the cord scene where she said he would get stuck in the door again, 😂
That's 4 PM Alabama time-right?
I am so here for this 🥰
This. The production value, the acting, the characters, the " have you found a home church yet?". Y'all nailed it! Chef's kiss!
He took her ‘Bless your heart’ to be a good thing! 😂 It wasn’t a compliment she was giving him…!
Yeah… we know…
Wondering how many non southerns realized that. 😂

Yes but how many use a proper Hymnal?
I was even asked that in an interview! Totally illegal. I lied n said my friend's church, a mega nondenom.
You know what is funny? I've lived in the south all my life and have never been asked that and I'm not a churchgoer. Apparently us southerners only want to "save" non-southerners! lol
Yes. Church of hell. It’s the greatest.

this should definitely be a T.V. series
I'm still hoping Slaw & Order will get a revisit.
Someone get NBC one the phone!!
I agree it would be a good show.

find out on the next exciting episode of Dragon Ball Z
How is this not a half-hour sitcom on network TV? It's like that show from the 80's, Sledge Hammer...but about news. Lots of potential here.
As a former journalist, there was so much here that was right. :-) Can't wait for next episode.
Absolutely great! Can't wait to see more of ya'll! Oh, and for those still wondering, he was talkin' about the Grand Slam at Denny's. God Bless!
Grand slam is good but I like the All Star from WH better.
It was on the tip of my tongue. Thanks
Sadly, I've had to stay away from my local Denny's when I found the one server who didn't understand, not when I mentioned about cross-contamination, but when I just mentioned my allergy to tree nuts and peanuts.
Better than most series on Netflix. This is awesome!
What about Glitter Force?
Well this is good but what you said is kinda low bar to reach
This was worth the wait. Talia really stands out. Facial expressions, tone, body language.
Everyone else is great too. This is so funny
I want this to get picked up as a prime time show so bad. Amazing work ya'll!
This was perfect! I needed this today! Sometimes it’s good to see the tables turned.

Ya'll need more than 3 episodes. This is knee slappin' funny. Thank you.
Okay, I have one thing to say about this debut episode: Hilarious! I am looking forward to the next 2 episodes coming soon! Keep 'em coming!
This could easily be a movie!
I hope he does not get stung by a Bee at the Leomon Aid Stand !!!
Looking forward to the upcoming episodes! :)
I work in local TV. and this is SO spot on, not nearly as satirical as one might think....loved it!!!!
Reminds me a bit of Northern Exposure, with the fish out of water who doesn't understand the community he's landed in.
Figured it would be funny as you all always are but you have taken it to the next level. Great characters and writing. More please!!
I cannot believe it! I was just thinking yesterday that I wondered if y’all had scrapped the project because I hadn’t heard anything about it. So excited!
This is just straight genius! This needs to be its own channel or better yet TV show!!!
Ironically, I broke my arm at work yesterday, so this is great comedic relief for me. Excellent!
I'm sure Tucker will be down to interview you about it real soon. 😺

Yeah, I refer to it as Jumping Jack's for Jesus. High energy music with the words next to crashing waves hitting the shoreline. 😒
I thought they were mispronouncing Colossians.
