I think that when the garbage truck comes, the mechanics to lift the bin and turn it upside will easily get tangled with the string from this lidlifter.

Anyone who can’t lift the lid, also can’t throw the bag in. You would also need to remove it every time the bins are getting collected.
I'd use this cuz I hate touching the icky lid. I think it's more just like 'get this literal crap out of my hands ASAP without making me messy' kind of thing. I wash my hands for like 5 minutes after taking out the garbage (I'm a germophobe though)

I hadn't even thought of that! I assume the garbage worker doesn't have to remove it in order to empty the bin
Can't see them removing it , for health and safety reasons you know what the council is like , and not only that how much time consuming it would be to take them off all the time ,
They'll chuck it in with the rest of the rubbish and drive away.

This is a great product with terrible execution. Why they didn't use a metal cable and proper fixtures for a final product is beyond me

i cant count the amount of times i got trash juices because the bins or the street bins wont have the proper pulling mechanism i wouldnt have a day long enough to end.
i dont know if this item in particular was the solution, but the problem definately exists.
I sometimes skip the entire pitch if I know the product is boring, I like the grilling the dragons give them and the negotiations more than anything.😊

What happens to the lifter gadget when the bins are emptied, do you take it on and off every time?
You're not touching the outside bin. Great, but... You are still touching your inside bin and recycling bin, then separating the recycling with your hands. So your hands still get dirty and will need to be washed after, therefore, voiding the need of this product.
