Coach for Men is a woody scent with a fresh opening, developed by IFF perfumers Anne Flipo and Bruno Jovanovic. Top notes: green nashi pear, bergamot, kumquat. Heart: cardamom, coriander, geranium. Base: vetiver Haiti LMR, suede, ambergris. Created in 2017.
Tommy by Tommy Hilfiger is a Citrus Aromatic fragrance for men. Tommy was launched in 1995. Tommy was created by Annie Buzantian and Alberto Morillas. Top notes are mint, lavender, grapefruit and bergamot; middle notes are cranberry, rose and granny smith apple; base notes are amber, cactus and cotton flower.
Y edt- Yves Saint Laurent launches a new men's fragrance for Generation Y (those who were born in the 1980s and 1990s). The fragrance is named Y and is capturing the spirit of youth with the goal of offering a millennial generation something different. Inspired by the iconic Yves Saint Laurent white t-shirt and black jacket, this Eau De Toilette represents a balance between freshness and strength. Like a crisp white t-shirt, notes of bergamot, sage and ginger offer a sharp juicy freshness to challenge convention and exceed all expectations. At its base, soft notes of balsam fir, cedarwood and marine ambergris embody the subtle power of a tailored black jacket that is refined, chic and surprisingly powerful. First Instinct- Perfumer Phillippe Romano (Inter Parfums) has created a new men's fragrance, First Instinct, for American apparel brand Abercrombie & Fitch that will launch in 2016. “I wanted to create a modern fragrance that balances both the fresh elements of fougère with oriental warmth. All the notes together, create a scent with worldwide appeal for the Abercrombie & Fitch man and beyond.” First Instinct, an oriental fougère, is intended for “the confident man who is not afraid to express his feelings.” Top notes include an aromatic gin & tonic accord combined with Kiwano melon. Middle notes offer spicy Szechuan pepper, airy violet leaves and tangy citrus. The basenotes are comprised of sueded musk with raw amber.
Invictus- Paco Rabanne launches Invictus, its new fragrance for men, which represents fresh and sporty creation in relation to the other perfumes of the house. The fragrance comes out in July 2013. Invictus, which is Latin for "invincible," represents power, dynamism and energy. The fragrance opens with fresh grapefruit and a marine accord that lead to the heart of aromatic bay leaf and Hedione jasmine and a woody base of guaiac wood, patchouli, oak moss and ambergris.
Legend Spirit- Montblanc announces Legend Spirit for 2016 as a new version of the original Legend from 2011 with the slogan "Follow Your Spirit." The original fragrance symbolizes timeless elegance and classicism; Legend Intense from 2013 is its night version; and the new edition is announced as the ultimate timeless and cool scent. Its aromatic - woody composition begins with a vibrant and refreshing blend of bergamot, pink pepper and grapefruit. A cool aquatic accord rules the heart which is mixed with aromatic tones of lavender and cardamom. The base ends with trendy blonde woods, cashmere, white musk and oak moss.

I live in FL and First Instinct is my absolute favorite beach scent! I hate really sweet fruity fragrances, however First Instinct is one of the few that balances that sweetness with woods & suede to make it lean masculine. Coach men was my signature scent for a while- love her taste!!! I truly appreciate your guys videos- at the end of the day most men value a woman’s opinion on men’s fragrances more than what a guy thinks...

I totally agree w her take on Mont Blanc spirit. In fact she’s spot on. I’ve never picked up that bubblegum vibe, in fact I would never have known it was compared to Invictus going in blind
The opening of both is quite similar, but you don't have to wait long and the Invictus turns in very sweet and playful..
With Tommy, men like it and women usually don't care for it or don't like it at all. Strange that women and men have a complete different reaction to scents. I enjoy Tommy scent. It's the same with Fahrenheit. There is no gray area, it's a love or hate fragrance with women.

I wish I never watched this because I now want to blind buy 4 fragrances haha. I was already planning on blind buying Nautica Voyage & First Instinct, now I've added Coach & Tommy to that list! I wear Fierce & Al Haramain l'Aventure currently but feel I need more of a day/keep in the car fragrance. Would you say they're all safe to blind buy?
They are all pretty affordable online. So you won’t spend too much money on them if you don’t like them. These are just easy to wear fragrances
Legend Spirit is an awesome smell no question, but it can go into beast mode and dry down has some heavier notes not sure its the right choice to the gym
Bear Claws 1 spray is all you need for gym 💪
sweet scent for gym?
I love tommy, just for myself. The weird thing is that i never smell any fresh notes in it. It's always smelled woodsy and smokey to me. It's the only fragrance that i think smells completely the opposite to what everyone says
That's one of the unique things about smelling fragrances, they all smell different to different noses! Tommy is still a nice winner of a fragrance.

Which has better performance between first instinct vs coach for men?
bird boxed coach probably. First instinct I’ve never warn as an all day scent. It’s so easy to refresh it as it’s so citrusy. They are probably similar in length but with Coach maybe a touch more. I wear first instinct more often to a gym setting.

Can’t wear YSL Y to gym...way too much. It’s a great year round, and great for Spring...but no one should be wearing to gym to sweat in.
M Nadz 1 spray if the edt on the clothes doesn’t over push it to much. But everyone smells differently.
Scents are so subjective but I feel coach and Mont Blanc you can get away with like 99 percent of the time ! Don’t know why all women love that Coach for men 😂

Y’s edp is a lot stronger and sharper than the edt though. For this instance

Sampled this at Macy's, the other day. Smelled just like Invictus Aqua 2018. My opinion, this is not worth $90, $80, $70, $60, nor would I pay $50. Projection 30 min - 1hr. no longevity at all. Just my opinion...
These are gym scents. Ment to be light and no projecting. So it’s ok if it lasts not very long.
Regardless of what these dudes say, in the name of gym communities everywhere we beg you: DON'T use fragrances in the gym!!! Just don't, please....

It's OK to smell fresh as opposed to body odor, as long as the rules outlined here are followed. It has to be light, fresh, and non offensive.
