Don't think this run is a good example of how to manage the ele DPS, he is using barely enough elemental damage to pass the first check (and thats all he needs) .He is using a Safi frost axe with pure damage, just 180 ice ele, and no frost jewels; the safi set is the only thing adding any ele damage.
Not really. Watch のら's SA run. He ran Safi Hellaxe with Blaze Charm V only because there is nothing else do add in. If I recall correctly he almost got the 3rd knockout
Do not be deceived. That timing with that jerky is critical. That supernova is height of "artificial difficulty." Without it, this monster would be a cake walk.

nah, i tried with just normal axe>sword mode combo and manage to reach the cap before going to dragon form

Fake. I tested the loadout and used the same items. Nothing creates that damage output.
