One of my favorite things about parrots are their long life spans. you can really get to know about a parrots previous owners from the way they talk. This bird reminds me so much of a spirited elderly grandmother. What a treasure!
that's a pretty happy bird, I can tell by the little trills, tiny fluffs, and subtle energetic movements. That, and the southern accent is hilarious and adorable.
Good info the best results that I have had was by following the Parrot Ploy Plan (i found it on google) - without a doubt the most useful treatment that I have ever seen.
Michelle Mankin Mee- No cussing what is so ever. I got her with most of her vocabulary she came from a Christian home and even sing songs like Jesus loves me. We try our best to keep her as innocent as we can.

These birds feel the good energy when you sing nicely to them and love it. It’s so precious to see her lift her wings and do little ‘feels’ shiver. While bird sitting for the first time, I found singing to her was a beautiful way to create a meaningful bond quickly.
Lilly is so darn cute. I can tell you spend a lot of time with her. Good time too❤️ I have a 37 yr old rescued Amazon that looks just like her. Julie is very talkative too. So refreshing to see a non swearing bird.
I bought a Mexican double yellow parrot, forty years ago. She was so small, she couldn't hold on to rungs in her large cage. I carried her across the border from Tijuana in the pocket of my Navy Pea Coat. Don't get a parrot unless you're prepared to spend a lifetime of loving that parrot! That said, we never match the love that parrots give.
My grandma had a Blue Crowned Conure, and a Double Yellow Naped Amazon. She came down with terminal cancer. Luckily, she had a contingency plan. My mom took the Conure, and the breeder she'd bought the Amazon from gladly took it back,as well.

516 dislikes is a proof that cats watch UA-cam...
I think it's far more likely that the dislikes prove that there are a growing number of educated people out there who know how inhumane a practice clipping a parrots wings is.
It removes the birds primary defence mechanism and wilfully disables it's freedom of movement and therfore, enjoyment of its environment. Parrots are naturally inquisitive creatures and also easily scared. Every time you see the bird crouch it's instinctively preparing for flight, either to get to something or away from something... but this one can't.
If you can't understand why this is an abhorrent practice you have big problems.
