- Lillian and Pancho at it again!! Today they spent all afternoon talking, yelling, and mimicking other bird sounds they even enjoyed the neighbors music. I'ts been a while since I have uploaded a video, I hope this makes up for lost time. Thank you for watching.

She is gorgeous! I've never heard a bird recite such a long passage like she does with the "monkeys jumping on the bed" song. She knows the whole thing! Very impressive and cute.

When I first started watching bird videos, I thought that they only repeated what they heard...I never knew, until watching yours, that they actually do. Very impressive. I have had parakeets since I was a child.... I can't even tell you How many pairs over the years. I'm 53 now and I already know when I move into my new home the only pet I really want is a bird like this... I've had cats and dogs but a bird like this I will be so happy to have I'm learning everything I need to know now so when I get my bird we are going to be in love lol

Chico my 38 yr old Yellow Nape has a crush on Lillian and do we sit and eat h her everyday. She is by far the best talker I've ever heard. Has such a cute voice! We both love her! Love the laff with the gasps done in her throat. Also the No more monkeys. I don't know was the sentence is with the Doctors head..just curious. Love oh my goodness! So many people think you teach parrots to say a word for a treat, but no they pick up what they want. Of love to hear more about her. How old is she. She is the best.

Wonderful! I wonder what makes her do such a wide vibrato on some notes? It sounds like she came from the Broadway stage, lol!
I wonder what the birds think the different vocalizations mean (to themselves). What's also amazing is how they remember all these sounds that are not necessarily linked to objects, behaviors or whatever and can spontaneously generate them from memory.

Just rescued a Double Yellow Amazon been in a nursing home 14 years her/his vocabulary about 3 words she so happy within just a few days opening tail and loving fresh healthy foods. They gave him/her wild bird seed.

People often ask me how I teach my birds to talk it’s simple I don’t. I just use simple phrases when doing certain things and they figure out how to associate phrase with actions and there you have it learned language. Lillian makes me dizzy when she whips her head around like that! You have the perfect temperament for Amazons and looks like you live in a warmer climate. Thanks for being such a great caretaker and companion to these two. Awwwwww she’s an exceptional talker/singer. How did you acquire Lilian? Seems like she’s very bonded to you.
They are a lot of work but one thing is there’s rarely a dull moment 😎
