Tumaco to Guapi by Victor Bastidas and De Paises Project

De Paises Project is partnering with Avant Garde Films to publish a series of videos of De Paises Project concerts at diferent venues during the last couple of years. In this series, Tumaco to Guapi was recorded at Locus Espacio Creativo in Bogota Colombia during the summer of 2014, Featuring: Victor Bastidas Drums and Compositions, Marlene Obregon and Gina Savino Vocals, Andrew Urbina Tenor Sax, Pavel Zuzaeta Trumpet, Gianni Bardaro Alto, Brian Vasquez Guitar, Kike Harker Bass. It is a composition from the album Canto Choco that blends the folk music from the Pacific coasts of Colombia, with Contemporary jazz elements and writting. It tells the story of Fisherman in the towns from Tumaco to Guapi, and the social constructs around the lives of the Fisherman families in a paradisiac landscape.
