Just to clarify, she didn’t bring the case. In part 1 she talks about being subpoenaed and her repeated death threats stemming from people believing that she brought the case. It’s important for her to distinguish.
I had a serious conversation with myself about not pre-judging a person negatively based on limited information. I did that with SD and I think I have learned my lesson.
I believe she prefers being called Stormy Daniels. (Just this second realized that may be because that is in her past, so wants it associated with her 'past' name? Perhaps she prefers Stephanie Clifford for AFTER that period of her life?)
Keep in mind Stormy was 27 years old and Trump was 60 years old. Really makes a difference.
AND she was poor, he was rich. It was his building and there was a guy to protect HIM on the door. He had the power to wreck her life, even have her killed. I bet she believed, with good reason, that he would do those things - she was scared.
I *do not care* if Joe slips during a debate or makes gaffes. He is not the monster being offered up as an alternative, any American still voting for Trump can't be much better than him. How sad for America, its moral compass down a golden toilet.
I think your last sentence just might be the most apt description of this whole surreal and dire situation. I, for one, can't stand the harrowing prospect of letting that thing back in the White House.

Rachel I’m a retired critical care flight paramedic, and former navy corpsman who suffers from PTSD. One of the most common S&S (signs and symptoms) of PTSD is he inability to remember specific details of the of the trauma causing event. Ms Daniel’s is suffering from PTSD!

Yes, the loss of blood to her extremities tells a powerful story. This is her body recognizing that she's in danger, even if she did her best to rationalize it. Then, her description of moving like she was in a fun house describes the dissociative state of perception that accompanies being trapped and feeling powerless, and ultimately traumatized. And, then immediately blaming herself for the aggression and threat of the other by asking herself what she'd done to cause the situation.

When she says that she “blocked it out,” it sounds as though she disassociated. And she was definitely coerced. The thing is, sometimes women acquiesce because they fear that if they don’t, it will get violent; that they will be forced and it will become more terrifying than it already is. Women feel as though it’s the last shred of self-determination in a situation like that; the idea that, “Well, if I have to go through this, maybe I can at least keep it from becoming physically violent if I go along with it.”
I have a lot of empathy for Stormy, through no fault of her own, or maybe her naivete, she was dragged into the Trump web, captured, abused and discarded on a false promise. Little wonder she felt used and abused and sort some sort of recompense. Now she finds herself a target, through no fault of her own for every deranged Trump acolyte, not just her but her family. Even if she survives, now thanks to the decision of the high court, also Trump acolytes, she faces the likelihood that she will be dragged in front of one of Trump's military tribunals to be further humiliated and abused and face whatever sanction Trump feels appropriate for having the temerity to embarrass him with the truth. I had a sort of fist fight with my hateful dad, who was trying to roughly handle my 35 lb little dog in anger. I remember points during it where I was surveying for new information or making a decision to act in a maneuver that would successfully allow me to exit the altercation. I don't remember at all other things, the middle of what happened, grabbing his shirt in my hand must have been an unconscious reflex, at some point I just realized it was there and used it to my advantage. I don't remember the entire part right after it started or other things along the way. My memory of it cuts from one bit of changing scenery or opportunity to the next, though there was evidence of injuries I sustained, like my hair being ripped out and my still today deformed lip. I don't remember the punch hitting me nor landing the punch I remember deciding to throw back at his initial push. All I was trying to was get my dog to safety, and everything that happened after that was a twist of senselessness.
So sorry you endured this.😢 Thank God, you made it through, although you will always remember.
