His heart was in the right place, but it was pandering to the extreme. If you're in trouble. Leave my mother and aunties alone. WTF. With all due respect, why wouldn't he find an Indian lady to take care of him? It's not just protection he want's from a BW, he wants BW to be a punching bag from whatever drama he's running from.
Why couldn't he say something about Indian women??👀 And this is the same guy(if he isn't gay) who wouldn't date or marry or procreate with a Black woman, let alone a DARK skin Black woman!!
Ok I can appreciate that he points out that black women are treated the worse. I get what he was trying to do and grant a bit of grace but the whole black woman servitude thing needs to go away because we’re tired. It doesn’t hold any other race accountable to take care of others. It was painful to watch. I just wanted to say honey, just no. I don’t like that BW have to give in order to get the bare minimum.
I call some cap on this. This was a somewhat common phase that Black mother's would tell their children when they travel south in th USA during the Civil rights movement and before. There is a history behind this phase. Yes, his mother may have said it, but it once again put the burden of protection on black women. Why would you tell a non-black child to find someone out of their race to protect them. Ok, make it make sense.
@@kendra7192 He’s an enemy because he views BW as the help. He knows that his own community looks down on BP. He knows if the roles were reversed a Black child couldn’t rely on an Indian woman for help. Enemy.
@@autumnjade815 it makes no sense to me that you're ASSUMING his intentions, he literally made a positive remark about black women, wheter it was a bad take it still had good intentions behind it. Why twist his words and make him seem like a villain?
This Video is SOOOO NEGATIVE Like people are DAMNED IF THEY TALK KINDLY ABOUT US AND THEY ARE DAMNED IF THEY DON'T. Like you have someone who is talking about how black women helped him and it's being turned into something else. Please jump off the negativity wagon and find positives in thing.
Well when men from his culture are in trouble, we will give him your phone number. Meanwhile his wife is white and receiving tangibles and non tangibles off of your black back lol. His women sitting in the house being taken care of.
I'm of two minds about this. 1. I appreciate the INTENT behind the video: to highlight the openness and kindness and WELCOMING nature of black women. We have been considered nurturing, understanding, and strong for so many even at the expense of ourselves. 2. This DOES NOT APPLY TO ALL BLACK WOMEN. If you know for yourself you have never been anything but judgmental and mean to anyone who has encountered you, it's not you. Don't bother feeling offended. 3. We are always complaining about how men go out of their way to put us down but can never appreciate someone who doesn't. We give so much energy to those who disrespect and belittle us. 3. I get that black women women do not feel that this energy we put into being kind and considerate to others is RARELY reciprocated in a meaningful way. People SAY a lot of stuff but don't DO enough to back it up therefore we do things on our own. We are on the come up and there's a targeted effort to diminish all that we accomplish. We just have to be aware of which is which.
I believe that he is sincere and his admiration for Black women is real. He doesn’t seem to view the support that Black women have given him as servitude. As a Black man I think that he’s being honest. I can’t speak for the feelings of Black women. Also if he had announced that he was going to donate a portion of his profits to organizations that support Black women, some people would said that was performative.
Putting money into something isn’t performative. Its literal action. Its nice what he said buttt its kinda helps the notion thst BW will be helping people when no one helps them
I don't believe this guy for one second and as soon as I saw his thumbnail titled dear black women and his nationality..... I knew he was just wanting clicks and views which I would not give him. I hate that you guys have decided to platform this dude. I have no doubt you will find out the inevitable.
It's not our responsibility to save everybody, when they don't save us.

You want to be left alone yet you want inclusion and worse off your men cry for validation from everyone
The brown dude was pandering, thank you for paying attention
Like that Meradi guy!
I don't think he was pandering he was talking about his own experience

Used but never promoted for protection or marriage, the sentiment is not appreciated let someone else do it, I'm busy doing me.

And why didn't his mother tell him to marry a Black woman and have strong mixed race kids with them??? Right!👀
We’re not helping you anymore.
He’s an enemy. I’m not sure if he knows that though.

Right?? I am so confused. Yes it’s wrong to see black women as a saviors but also this was just unnecessary.

@@casswashwash1070 I didn't post that it's performative. I posted that some people would say that it was performative, because that's what people do.
I noticed the same thing too.

If this is in fact true then why do they treat us like trash they meaning the world and other black women?

It’s really not about him, it’s about us having a discussion that this isn’t a compliment. Many Black Women really appreciated his 5 minute musings
