- This vlog covers the first half of April 2024. I've figured out how to organize Instagram Reels that I want to come back to - I'll show you how. I make a new beef taco recipe - Yum! We enjoyed a 90% eclipse - that was fun. We also had an earthquake. I'll give you a sneak peek of a part of my new skincare routine - it ended my dry under eyes.

Great video ! I used to work for a dermatologist and I was able to get lots of treatments for very little money, it was amazing ! I miss that now that I am retired ! This was a great video ! We also had an earthquake here in Texas a few years ago and the center was just a mile from my house ! It was freaky ! Everyone in the neighborhood ran outside to see what was going on ! Thanks for always being so much fun to watch Bobbie !!
I have been put in castor oil all around my eyes and eyelashes and then sleeping with a sleep mask. it is really helped my dryness and also my dry eye! It is also keeping my eyelashes conditioned.
Enjoying your vlogs, Bobbie. I had not heard of Moxi laser treatments and it looked very painful. I especially appreciated your suggestions for the dry areas around the eyes treatment. I will definitely give those two products a try.

You're welcome! My advice would be to go to a MedSpa that is under the supervision of a dermatologist. In order to call themselves a MedSpa they have to be under a doctor, but that could just be a family doctor or honestly ANY kind of doctor. It's important to be under a dermatologist!!

Hi Bobbie, Thanks for taking us with you for your procedure. I had a couple laser treatments done years ago, when my sister worked for a Derm Dr. Even on the lowest setting with numbing cream, it was so painful. I’d love to try it again, because that was over ten years ago. Maybe I’d tolerate the Moxi laser better. Your hair looks really pretty, so shiny ! I didn’t know you had Meniere’s. My sister suffered with it for years, and finally had to have a surgery on the affected ear. 😕 No episodes since, so fingers crossed. I also an inner ear condition similar to Meniere’s, Labyrinthitis. I can relate to having the dizzies for sure. Loved your VLOG !

Oh my gosh!! I would never want to do that Moxi laser!! I am not as willing to do that much for beauty :) I'll stick with my Dove and Noxema. Lol! I have been using them my whole life :) I have had to add Micellar cleansing water and concealer under my eyes as I got older, however. Your skin does look beautiful though. And your esthetician is great!! xoxo

Great Vlog. Tell your daughter Thank you for allowing you to bring us along for your Tx. My dry dry dehydrated under eyes have been horrific also. I am using Experiment Super Surge Serum. It’s like a high glycerin serum and my skin has truly transformed from super dry/ dehydrated to almost normal. Yesterday was the 1st time in months I applied concealer and no dry skin. Yay.

I don’t think you need anything for your skin-it is absolute perfection as it is! You’re lucky you can trust your daughter for the treatment-I don’t think I would do this anywhere except a doctor’s office.
That's kind of you - thank you! I do trust her, but I understand your hesitation. She is a certified laser technician and works under the supervision of a dermatologist. I would advise anyone thinking to do this to go to a Medical spa that is under a dermatologist. Many Med Spas are not and that's where I think people should be nervous.

Honestly, it's not that bad. Any pain is very quick and afterwards, it's just hot. Go for it!
Great video !❤ question for you, I do use Tretonin, however I’ve also seen dermatologist that say collagen can be good for skin, joints, etc. so I’m considering doing a liquid collagen and would love to know if you use any ? It’s not greasy or sticky and I’ve had no issue with concealer. I do let it sit a few minutes.
Thanks for the undereye tips. For some reason, my undereyes are so dry and concealer just looks horrible. Do you have a favorite non-drying concealer to recommend?

I'm really sorry, but showing that treatment seems like it would be a caution AGAINST getting it. I think your skin looks lovely for a woman in her 50's and that treatment just seemed painful and unnecessary (and crazily expensive since she said you're supposed to do it repeatedly). You're a wonderful mom for being her "model"...but I think you look lovely just as you are!
