Despite playing poorly, I still got S-rank without a sweat. This is just a little guide to show you the easiest way to beat the game-mode (hint hint, just be OP).
There's a pro tip Only farm the enemies that are outside the shop at first stage with the flying sword, the only thing you need is the MP recovery and time recovery. Its the first stage so all the enemies will drop 3 type of gems, graze effect, mp and time recovery, dont mind the damage since you have a lot of spam, leave the dmg buffs as second because the more spammer you can be the better results will be, also the graze effect you can use it when doing time stop to extend your time to do more spammy tricks and spamming the TS button Try to use more the Snail, its very useful, the enemies get really slow and you can land all the thousand knives with that thing enabled, dont depend that much of time stop since there are bosses that use green attacks which bypasses time stop And try to recover mp/hp in bosses with easy attacks to evade (Flandre's robots, False Nitori bullet rain, Reimu's fireball barrage/second phase first attack) with the Graze effect gems you can get a lot of heals with less than 100 graze Sorry for the bad english, my main language is Spanish
Now, Let's talk about Bounce Knife. Pretty Much the second most underrated Attack in this game (For me) This knife is pretty meh, and it's really late in the game. The Damage is Not as Good Thousand Daggers, or Chainsaw. But apparently, This knife kills Remilia Faster Than Anything Else In the game. I'm confident nobody knows this, but me (Could be wrong). All it takes is timing, knifes, and Za Worldo. Then spam 2 Waves of Bounce knifes. It melts Remilia's Health Instantly to 0. The Reason why it instantly kills Remi is because when the knife stops flying, it still has the hitbox, and it hits way more than when it's flying, because the speed is greatly reduced. Hence, why the dps is meh. This also works with Patchouli, Nitori(?), Flandre, and PC-98 Reimu. Though Patchouli is the easiest to kill with it, Thousand Daggers kills her before she even gets to move. Flandre is difficult to do, but if you can pull it off, it could save seconds. Nitori is Weird, you could just use Thousand Daggers and Melt her, but the bounce knifes can do it too, but chainsaws is Nitori's worse enemy, since one (Two?) of her attacks can give u infinite chainsaws until she dies. Reimu is The Hardest To Do, since you can only do it if u lure her to the corner, but then she'll probably leave immediately (Or you're not even close to being positioned). You can only do this with her Fantasy Nature attack (Rainbow orb attack), but you have to Angle the Attack up, in a specific position, to get maximum damage, which doing Thousand Daggers, is once again, the best strategy. What about other bosses like Marisa, and Meiling, and Cirno? For Cirno, it's currently unknown, nobody even knows, but Thousand Daggers is most likely better. For Meiling, you have to Angle the Daggers, because she's on the ground. News Flash, Thousand Daggers kills her instantly (If u skip her block). Pretty much Thousand Daggers Kill Everything, but the Queen of Remi Destruction surprisingly, Goes to the Bounce Knifes. Underated Weapon. (Edit: Since Remilia Has to Follow you (To the corner) The Knifes with follow Remi, taking away Half Her Health Within 1 Second, after that, the knifes will fall on the next bounce, killing Remilia Instantly)
