The more I watch the more I realize that it is physically impossible to bring my husband there, so this is my trip to the Holy Land. Seeing the first century places, the real ones is over whelming. Thank you and Shalom!
I hope you didn’t get in trouble at the end! I am simply amazed at your knowledge of the Gospels and your knowledge of those things that are attested to in scripture and those things that are tradition. It almost seems that you have a century of experience and knowledge to draw from when giving these tours. I have been quite blessed.
Turned out the monk was only upset I used the light.. and when I later made a vlog about the church itself, he was ok with that too! wait and see.. and Just to clarify - I was raised in a Jewish religious school.. Shalom Danny. Thank you once again for sharing your knowledge and expertise. I hope tourism picks up soon. That ending was a bit of a cliffhanger, hope you didn't get in any trouble. God Bless.
Danny, great video. I learned a lot from you, and although you are Jewish and had to read the gospels to be a good guide, if I may be so bold, the Savior came first for you and your people but since He is the rejected One in Isaiah 53, gave the opportunity of being the most famous Jew in the world thanks to the Portuguese who started that trend. Only Great Love could bear such a pain, more than 600 wounds! It his your burden as a Jew to bear His Love because make no mistake, a Great Love is also a burden. God loves you.

Hey Danny- great job! Can you give us your opinion why you think the Garden Tomb is not the tomb of Jesus? I have read some convincing evidence that suggests it is. Thanks!!!
One of the reasons for the claim that the garden tomb is the place was that this church is within the city walls and Jews bury the dead outside of the city. Only, as Danny said, in Roman times this area was outside the walls. The church was regarded as the location of the tomb since really early days. They actually found there a graffiti made by a pilgrim from Rome in the 4th century AD.
Interestingly good tour, although the people look & act mistrustful. Would not want to visit in person. Thank you for the vid. Liked seeing the calico kitty.🐈
Danny, I've been binge-watching your vlogs. When I get to Israel, I'll contract your services. However, if Church of the Holy Sepulchre is accurate, it's the first location that Helena got right. The Garden Tomb makes more sense (a rich man's house, perhaps Joseph of Arimathea) not far from the place of the skull (which looks like a skull) near the Damascus Gate because the Romans wanted people to see crucifixions to scare them. Helena got Mount Sinai wrong as well. Thanks to an agreement made by the Trump administration, we can travel to the ancient land of Midian in Saudi Arabia and see the real Mount Sinai. Shalom!
thank you for your video's, we will be visiting Jeruzalem for 10 days from April 4 th tot 14th! Is it still quit on the sites or is everything we "as crowded" as usual since Easter is coming .. (I have donate 10 USD for your effort :))

This information he's giving about the location of the what trial is off. According to Joel Kramer who is a Christian but also an archaeologist who resides in Jerusalem and has been involved in many archaeological excavations.
DUDE, how did you manage to get a camera into the the tomb of Edicule!? holy moly, I was there for about 10 times in my life, it was crowded and insane and if you even come near with anything digital they kick you out of line! there are other videos of course online with hidden cameras, but do people online get how special the end of this video is? how odd it must have been for you Danny!
History does matter. Keep in mind Golgotha, the place of the skull, Calvary in Latin, is outside the city walls and still on Mount Moriah, in keeping with the scriptures. Helena made things up.
Danny, I have a question. I will have plenty when I tour with you in August, but I’ve heard other stories that the traditional stations of the cross were not the real ones, as these are in the Muslim quarter and the real trail of Jesus was in the Jewish quarter. That this area wasn’t in existence in Jesus time. That these traditions came from the Catholics. What is your opinion.
Our faith is in the Holy Spirit of Yeshua, Jesus, not in the flesh or physical material "evidence" ... I pray this is not holy ground as it's treatment would be sacreligious. Not a fan, but a follower of the Christ, Jewish Son of David. Peace.
@@danny.the.digger Most people don't know that the word "Palestine" comes from the ancient Philistines, however you may know this people group from the Bible. Judges 13-16 records the account of Samson overcoming the Philistines. The Philistines were not indigenous to Canaan, but were from Egypt & gained control, for only a season, the coastal plains of what is now Ashdod, Ekron & Ashkelon. Interesting, the Philistines totally dissapear from written history in 6 BCE at the time of Nebuchadnezzar, another well known Biblical character, who conquered the region. The Philistines haven't been around in centuries. Many accolades to you Dr. Danny Hermon for challenging our traditions and sending us to the whole Bible to review the history of the Holy Land!!!

it's so sad to see the most holy road in the whole world to be negligent and nobody even care , does any Christiaan can do that in Macca? why this road has shops? it's make me sick
🤷♂️
If this is the actual path that The Lord Jesus Christ took, then you are standing on Holy Ground, naturally the shops should be closed, it’s like having shops in The Temple of God, I suppose all of you should be glad I’m not in charge of this path, because I would make it a law to remove your shoes
Be my guest.. try to change anything in the Old City ☺️
