No spoiler just a fact this show is based on the video game series of the same name so there are tons of Easter eggs and references to the video game series as a whole
She didnt change him. He listened to her and decided to embrace her ideals. Thats not her changing him thats him changing himself. Also his wife didnt love him for him being Dracula, she loved him for him being a scientist, for his intellect she looked PAST the fact he was a vampire it was not her reason for seeking him out.
I think D. Nasty is overthinking what brought Lisa and Dracula together. She fell in love with him outside of the overlord and warrior. She loved him for his scientific mind, his philosophical mind, his curious mind. And like Beauty & the Beast she came to know him beyond the Vampire.
The Speakers did stay because it’s the right thing to do. Not being able bury their dead was just insult to injury. In the same vein, Belmont feels he’s given up on the world because the world has given up on him, but when push comes to shove, he can’t help but help the desperate. Maybe it’s because he too is desperate in a way. He’s jaded, but he’s still a good man.
You're assuming that Dracula was happy in his solitude before Lisa came to his door. As someone who's been an introvert battling depression for 20 years, eventually you stop feeling anything. You're dead on your feet. She made him feel alive again. He sees the world as something new again.
Funny thing, the voice actor for Trevor Belmont...Richard Armitage aka Thorin Oakenshield in the Hobbit !!! Great voice acting from him on this show !!
I feel like you’re taking agency away from Dracula by saying she changed him. He lived for hundreds of years. If he changed I feel like it was a choice based on experiences with her and not so much her making him change. But that’s me (also single and hurt). As an aside, loved the text of what you all were saying. More people should do that. Makes the video accessible to people who can’t hear. Good on ya. The fight scenes are great in this but season one and two are a little short.
Generally a whip isn’t a weapon you want in a close quarters fight, but for someone as well trained as Trevor, he has no issues. Plus he has a short sword in addition to the whip. For fighting fast opponents like vampires, it’s safer to fight them at a distance so it makes sense on some level to be trained in using a whip. It keeps them at a distance, has range and is fast. But in the games the Belmonts are trained to use multiple weapons and tool.
A neat tidbit. When you use a whip, the snap it makes at the end, is the whip braking the sound barrier. So yes, it can do quite a bit of damage. Also, big dudes view on being 'changed' by someone isn't the same as changing *because* of someone. One is manipulation, the other growth. "Both views are valid"? No, big dude is just factually wrong in this situation. Dracula changed because he found a new form of contentment. In the same way he taught her his knowledge, she taught him humility. She showed him a way of life he never bothered learning because he considered it beneath him. This shouldn't be that conceptually hard to grasp ...
Lisa loved the man, not the monster...it's the Beauty and the Beast story, he views himself separate from man and doesn't understand them the way she does, she sees him as a kind intelligent gentleman that has been closed away for far too long. She surprises him with her kindness and acceptance, she ws always intrigued by him. She also didn't take away his edge, she was simply the tether to the only vestiges of humanity he had. As long as she drew breath, Dracula would be her loving husband...but the moment something happened to her, especially a betrayal by her own kind, acting in a manner that they accuse her of...then there would be no more man in Dracula. He did not want to exist in a world without her, but he also would not allow man to go along unscathed for what they had done.
I said something similar in comments for the first episode but... No way was Dracula happy as he was, the man's an ancient vampire who's seen it all often enough to grow tired of it. Only reason some random lady coming along would be able to influence and change him is if he Wanted to change, he's not exactly the type to lack willpower nor a sense of agency for himself. What he lacked was a fresh perspective and a spoonful of hope which she provided. The stranger thing for me honestly is how/why she set up shop at the capital where all the dangerous people live but she had No protection, be it some magical item or a minion or even a lesser (as in lesser than dracula) vampire around to keep this kind of shit from happening to her... Or at least for some way she can summon/alert him in case of emergency.
8:30 I'd say Invincible is the closest show to Castlevania when it comes to being graphic out of the stuff you've reacted too, the art style might be simpler but some of the scenes like Omni Man killing the Guardians of the Globe in episode 1 or having Mark go through the entire train of people in the finale are horrifying to watch.
@@dohalimilqarasdeldemenanci8483 Hardcore Gore? Off the top of my head: shows like Berserk and Hellsing Ultimate, for example. And there are many more out there way more gory than Castlevania/Invincible, especially if you look through some anime from the '80s and some from the '90s.
@@LJMiho its funny you say Berserk and Hellsing, gore wise they are not superior to Castlevania at all. Nothing in Berserk (the old anime) had me thinking this is hardcore and Castlevania is not. Violent Jack and Genocyber are some anime that I do consider hardcore gore off the top my head.
@@dohalimilqarasdeldemenanci8483 OK, maybe I should've been a bit more specific, but when I mentioned Berserk I was actually thinking about *_The Golden Age Arc_* film trilogy (which to date I find to be the best adaptation to anime of the manga, it's an adaptation of just the 2nd Arc but damn if it isn't fucking awesome). Apart from it, other adaptations of Berserk to anime have been moderately good to just bad, in my opinion.
Whips can absolutely wreck a person. That cracking noise is the tip breaking the sound barrier. Without armor a bullwhip can literally split open a person's stomach and sever the tendons in the arms and legs. The only places you can for real whip a person without risking maiming or crippling them is the back and soles of the feet, and even with the feet if you aim or flinch wrong it can take a toe clean off.
You guys should try reacting to *_Hellsing Ultimate_* whenever you can. If you're already this uncomfortable with this moderate level of gore, then I can only imagine how you'd feel after watching *_Hellsing Ultimate._*
What I learned right here is that Director Nasty is alone and going to be forever alone, cause to him either women want you to change or you want to change for them and that's simpin'. Women just can't win with him!
DNasty is making alot of assumptions on Dracula and the relationship. You should never change someone to love them but people do change when in a loving relationship. Hell you change just by the environment you live in.
Nah bro so one thing i think D.N. off on is, ifs not that he completely gave up his thug shit and powers maybe it was just for this trip, and we dont know how long hes been gone, like it could of been just a few months, or a year or a decade we dont know. but its assumption he gave up on all his powers, i think it was just “ dont use em for this trip, walk the country, smell the flowers, fuck a sheep whatever the humans do”
I’m sorry did he know Dracula personally orrrrr…😭😭 It’s very bold to say she changed him as a whole when we were shown almost none of his personality besides the fact he didn’t go outside….?? Also you can’t say it’s a negative he changed because you don’t know how he personally feels about his GROWTH!!😭😭 His change literally adds nothing to the situation they found themselves in- it’s the fault of the people who burned her. Had that not happened they would’ve been together and happy…would like to also add he was walking the earth for ONE YEAR…which means for the rest of the 19 years of their marriage he wasn’t living as a man💀💀
Damn he doesn’t know anything about Dracula. He and Lisa grew to love each other the same way all people fall in love. She wasn’t changing him to her will she was showing him that there is still beauty in the world. She was trying to get him out of the basement to touch some grass.
Where is getting the idea that Dracula gave up everything and she took everything? They started a family and he kept alllllllllllll his power and possessions. All he did is share his knowledge with Lisa so she can help heal people.
Lol. I Actually mentioned the difference in my married mind set. But let’s keep the respect for him. His name is Directornasty and that’s his feelings. We respect each other

F off with that I feel like bullshit
he spittin truth those texts were brilliant always wished some reaction channels focus more on the small details like that.
One of the best things about this series is that everyone has that accent which adds a sense of realism to the series.
I would have to assume she fell in love with him because he showed he was able to change based on a new perspective.
There is beauty in that.
Wait its not a woman that lead to Dracula having a broken heart its the men who killed his wife that lead him down a path of destruction

Especially because Castlevania is still only on the "moderate" range for graphic violence.
