+MrMannydac The element is likely in this case to be fixed with nuts on either side of the connections. To access these nuts remove the back cover and carefully move any insulation away from the sides of the element as it goes through the back wall of the cavity.
If my Lamona oven back fan doesn't run on the main oven setting could it be because the heating element has blown as it does work on the grill setting ?
I have a Leisure oven and there appears to be no screws holding the element in place but I can't remove it. Any ideas?

Hi there's no element around my fan any ideas
our element does NOT have screws - it seems to be welded onto the back plate - it's a SMEG fan forced oven about 15 yrs old
Hi Linda, your element will be fixed by two nuts from the back of the cavity so you will need to remove the cabinet back to access and remove these.
