I finished my socks on 9" circular needles (finally!)
New sock project knit with Knitpicks Stroll tweed sock yarn. The toe up sock pattern I was telling you about is linked below.

Working on the Pink Velvet Sweater by Andrea Mowry knit out of Euphoria Knits Yarn, and also the Stonecrop Sweater knit with Flock Fibre Studio Yarn.

So glad you are OK Laura...been thinking of all our friends and Family in BC right now and watching all the updates. Our friends are actually in Abbotsford but thank goodness on high ground. Glad to hear that you were safe during the storms. Also glad you are using your stash! I watch quite a few podcasts and I just don't understand how they can all keep buying hand dyed yarn.
Yeah I feel like it's a collection for some people - and that's totally fine- but I was starting to get overwhelmed by my stash!
When you said the 9" circulars with that pattern would be great for theatre knitting I pictured you all dressed up in a beautiful dress, hair done and make-up watching a theatre production knitting! lol I know that isn't what you meant but that's where my mind went! lol Love your socks! I can't believe how fast you knit! Your sweaters are coming along nicely, the bold turquoise vs the subtle rose is quite a contrast but we all have those days where we want or need the bright pick-me-up or the cozy comfort colours! Your Tula Pink bags are awesome! I made a ton of gift bags for my daughter over the last couple years out of Tula fabrics, I'm happy I have a few scraps left for making bags for myself! Glad you are safe and hopefully your husband remains safe while doing his job too!

I knit left handed so it would all be backwards! I bet there are lots of great tutorials online if you had a look
I'm planning on knitting the Throwover sweater soon, my first Mowry sweater. Do her sweater sleeves tend to be a snug fit? All the photos I see show tight sleeves which I'm not a fan of.
I have bigger arms so i would say yes they run a little tight - I've heard of people modding patterns to knit larger sleeves but have never tried it myself🙂
@@iheartewe Thanks for your reply. In one sweater I knit, just after dividing for the sleeves I found that it was snug in armpits and yoke not long enough. I knit the yoke longer and added in more CO sts (about 4 sts per armpit I think) and that rectified those issues. Adding CO sts would make the sleeves wider but you have to do that very early on of course. I guess I'd be increasing sts in the sleeves if I found them tight. I'll have to research it.
