Hello Kathryn, you found some beautiful pieces this summer, I can't pick a favourite they're all delightful, the little pot bellied stove pepper pot is going to look wonderful in the dolls house, the egg scale is fascinating I've never seen anything like that before. The teacup and saucer was very pretty, the coffee pot reminds me of the early 1970's, I can remember seeing them when I was young, I think they were popular over here around then. I'm looking forward to seeing your craft project videos with some of the items you bought. The days are definitely getting shorter it was dark at 4:30 this afternoon, only a few more weeks and it will be dark by 4pm. It's still quite mild but very dull and grey, we haven't seen any sunshine for almost two weeks now, the forecaster called it anticyclonic gloom, I think gloom is definitely the right name for the weather at the moment. I'm going out on Sunday to the York dolls house fair which will brighten up another otherwise gloomy grey day. Have a lovely weekend. Bye for now, take care, much love from across the pond, Diane x
Hello!!!! It was a nice little collection. I accidentally left something out but I will catch up with it next week. The weather is now foggy and damp here. I still have to plant my bulbs. I thought the little stove shaker was great. Oh, please collect miniaturist cards/e-mails for me . I will add them to that great list for reveal invites. Nearly there. I finished the new slate rooftop the other day and it is drying in the diningroom. Soooooooo close to the finish line lol! New tower slate rootops is this weekend. You will see them Sunday :) Have a wonderful da.....evening :)xxo from across the pond.
I loved all of your finds! What a wonderful delight to find that stove/heater for your build! And what an imagination to see those coasters as a map desk! I saw it as soon as you said it....but not before. I especially love the older table runner! I would love something like that though it doesn't exactly fit my home's look. Now I am excited to see what you will be doing next time crafting!
Thank you Sharon. As my work on the build winds down I can start my things to do list again :) I am excited for the holidays. I looked at the piture in the intro and ralized I forgot to share one item, so I will do that Tuesday. Have a great day!
Last Christmas we managed to find quite an assortment for the game shelf. I think my favourite find was Pachisi from 1952-ish. P.S. Have a most wonderful day!
Your dining room is going to be beautiful with your thrifted vintage asian pieces. My neighbor is redoing her guest bedroom, also in the asian theme, however not many vintage pieces, except what we have gifted her. 😂 I pray your son is feeling much better. Congratulations to you son on his first house purchase. Such a wonderful feeling. I am looking soooo forward to the miniature house reveal. 🩷🫂
My youngest is doing well, it was quite a story. I would never have though an asian theme but then I found the satsuma tea set :) I think thrifted gifting is so creative. Bye for now. Have a wonderful day!
Oh, I don't think it was Blenko but the glow would be if it had a element in it such as uranium or cadmium. :) P.S. The Blenko plate I was referring to, Jocleyn the Crazy Lamp Lady put back on the rack afew days ago and then found it again then bought it for Christmas charcuterie.

I remember playing Rook with my family all sitting at a big table playing together. Wonderful memories 🥹

That scale is amazing. I’m 30 minutes from Tipton, Indiana ❤
The scale is pretty amazing. We have run across a few fun and unusual items.
Can you please explain the glow on the plate you thought was Blenko? Thank you. I love all of your beautiful art
