Dear god, please let us keep this man on earth as long as possible. Losing Paul would be a major hit to the whole world.
they will replace with another paul again ahahahah
I saw this show live at Madison Square Garden in 1976. Fantastic.
Me too
Seriously, that DMaj 7th opening chord is the best opening Ive ever heard. Paul at his most creative....also, the way he treats the major seventh, with the quick slides-- man....that is the way a major 7th chord was meant to be worked. So glorious! music aficiandos can really dig this kind of stuff. that is all.
Arguably the greatest musician of all time. By far the greatest Beatle.
@@caincolesrthe greatest Beatle is John Lennon. But not by far. Matter of fact there is no “greatest Beatle”, only fools compare and think there is such a thing. If it was Paul, Wings would’ve been a LOT closer to the Beatles but as it stands “Plastic Ono Band” by John is the highest rated solo Beatles record ever along with George’s “all Things must Pass”; sorry “Band on the Run” these are facts but I love “Band on the Run” just as much in a different way
@@hw343434 For many people who very appreciate the Beatles' story, Georges Harrisson is the one who had the most prolific career post Beatles, its song was out of time.
george and paul, ringo was a little blacked out, and john although composing a lot he was really on the bottom with the drugs, and then we have yoko which i dont need to explain anytbint @@pachko7164
This is prog rock without being boring
Big time
That mullet is absolutely magnificent
Not a mullet, no where close.
The bass line in the if we ever get outta here part is so fucking good it’s not fair
I listen to this song just to hear that bass
Love seeing Paul and Linda play together
Denny Laine passes at 79 … Go Now and on your Wings Rest in Peace!
Was grateful to see him at his final show he did before he got to sick to play anymore in Richmond VA he still put on an amazing show
Great bassist , maybe , the best musician in the Beatles , and the Rickenbacker, awsome sound
Easily the best musician in the Beatles.
Paul vocal skills are amazing. This is very rock and roll, some notes kind of bend agressively. Reminds me of Golden Slumbers. Great technique and feeling.
I’ve always love the range this song shows on all members of the Beatles. Really showcased everybody’s niche
Man, did I ever have a crush on Linda. I still miss her.
Outstanding drummer
Yes. His feel is amazing.
Joe English was phenomenal I agree
That Rickenbacker sounds great.
What a nice bassline
I just love Paul's playing when the funk comes out in his body and hands at 1:19. Nasty nasty. Funky funky and not a slap in sight. All pick
Why do people always talk about the fact that he doesn't slap the bass
@@Aderin.Guess that it's seen as an easy way to get the funk going, and some people underate it for some reason? It was not as popular back in the 70's. Still his bass is tight wether he slaps, plucks or picks so I don't really care myself
@@Aderin.because resist slapping is hard? it’s like trying not to do fills when drumming, it takes more proficiency, discipline, sense of music/rhythm etc. to do so, and people appreciate that about Paul, it’s part of his craft
He is in a slibby place. Vocals right and raspy.
Also (1:42ish) high, I think…
AND!!! One of the greatest bass player of whole time.
Lol😂
hes the best always has been
Jimmy M was a beast of a guitar player!!!!taken too soon.
He was, his tone and musicality were notable
I keep forgetting what a fantastic live singer he is. That sense of timing!!! Unacknowledged virtuoso on the bass also.
Un icono, que ya se encuentra en la historia universal de la música.
Love hearing this … get goosebumps from all the happy memories of days gone by - absolutely banging!!!
Quality of video and audio amazing
Jimmy lights up here on Gibson SG Standard '61 probably. Give him any guitar , the result would be the same , I think : great guitar playing !! You modern guitarists show something like he used to play )!
thats def a 70s model
I think It is : Gibson SG Standard '61@@jerryyeaaah15
Wings should be in Rock and Roll HOF
Joe English on drums. Yes !!
R.I.P Denny Laine

Wow this is a magic moment
So good‼️‼️
Jimmy was so good
So perfect :)
Drummer is rippin back there!
Stuck inside these four walls
Sent inside forever
Never seeing no one
Nice again like you
Mama you, mama you
If I ever get out of here
Thought of giving it all away
To a registered charity
All I need is a pint a day
If I ever get outta here
If we ever get outta of here
Well, the rain exploded with a mighty crash
As we fell into the sun
And the first one said to the second one there
I hope you're having fun
Band on the run, band on the run
And the jailer man and sailor Sam
Were searching every one
For the band on the run
Band on the run
For the band on the run
Band on the run
Well, the undertaker drew a heavy sigh
Seeing no one else had come
And a bell was ringing in the village square
For the rabbits on the run
Band on the run
Band on the run
And the jailer man and sailor Sam
Were searching every one
For the band on the run
Band on the run
Yeah, the band on the run
The band on the run
Band on the run, hey
Band on the run
Well, the night was falling as the desert world
Began to settle down
In the town they're searching for us everywhere
But we never will be found
Band on the run
Band on the run
And the county judge who held a grudge
Will search for evermore
For the band on the run
The band on the run
Band on the run, yeah
Band on the run, yeah
Get Down Paul!!!
I love Paul McCartney
If i remember. This was in the Kingdome. It sold out in under 2 hours. I could be mistaken
What year do ya reckon?
1976
Such a beautiful man
R.I.P.
Denny….
Top bassists. Entwistle, McCartney, Lee, JPJ.
Ronnie Lane....R.I.P
love it all hope thats ok...❤
Macca is a fucking god
Rest in peace Denny
Thanks for posting this. We got him here before his voice started the inevitable slide down the octave scale most men go through. You’d think science could come up with a solution to keep men’s voices in their prime range until they pass.
Paul linda❤🎇
Joe English took this song to graduate school level, leaving the studio version behind wetting it's pants in the 2nd grade.
Paul could make a bass stings with a shovel dound good
❤
I don't Paul ever gets enough credit for being such a great bassist. Not the greatest, but he is really good.
Rip denny
fuck thanx for posting this loved growing up to the beatles
Farewell Denny Laine
Rest East Denny Laine!
❤🎇

What a beautiful music. I'm so glad I grew up with listening to music music.

this song fucks in passing all Lennon and Harrison songs as solo composers
So this song was probably co-written with Danny Lane .
@@user-oo2wf7cf6h haha funny comment. Paul McCartney wrote this by himself
@@thebookofeli849 How can you be so damn sure of that?) If you had responded to my comment immediately after I typed it , I would have left you a link based on which I declare this . But now several months have passed , I don't remember the source of information regarding this point . Can you say that the songs of Wings " Children children" and "No words" Paul also completely composed?)
@@user-oo2wf7cf6h well all the songs except no words were written by Paul McCartney. You can tell by the writing style behind it
@@thebookofeli849 I heard somewhere that "Band on the run" was written jointly by McCartney and Danny Lane. I believe that . " No words " is considered to be the author of Danny Lane , Paul changed something in it . Maybe that's why it sounds so Beatles-like?
RIP Denny Laine and RIP Linda. Linda takes a lot of criticism for her keyboard playing, even from Paul. Personally always thought she was okay
mama yu
Loved 4:22 No No
This is awesome! I can't help but feel that Paul could've used a compressor on his bass to give it more umph.
Mecca
Rn im in a phase where I'd take wings over the Beatles any day of the week.
Either you like this or you're wrong.
Paul con la M de movistar 😂
Paul vocals are not on point on this show. Good grief
Paul is a force of nature
Vote for TRUMP 2024....MAGA. Peace out!
