    Nice video! I would have a hard time burying any one of those targets less the gold ring! Looking hard at the T2.

    Lol, t2 for me every time, but would have like to see you gb it before you started, brave man for doing the video, well done.

    T2 for me all the way. cost half the price of the other 2 and does just as good a job, if not better.

      Yeah T2 is a damn good detector but can't handle some of the toughest sites Iv been on

    The beauty is in the settings..

    Good video. I have had all 3 machines and keep the Deus and a Chinese copy of T2 .The deepest settings on the Deus 3.2 without ANY doubt are full tones and silencer -1.Reactivity in 3-4 for better separation of iron and non ferrous.You then only need gb at manual 88 and sens to suit site. Reactivity 2 and silencer above 0 gives it no chance on the separation tests. As you say , bad settings can handicap a machine.Good luck,
    Gaz

      +Gary Jessop and you can get cut quarters at 6" with the Deus?

    • @garyjessop8675
      @garyjessop8675 8 років тому +1

      No .

    You swung all three machines at a slower minelab rate. The T2 should be swung a bit faster for a fair comparison.

    There must be something seriously wrong with your Deus or the settings you`re using. Mine gives a good clean signal on cut quarter in contaminated soil at 6".You`re telling me it would`nt find your `hoards` at 12" ???

    no ground balancing?

    • @ctx3030tv
      @ctx3030tv  9 років тому +1

      it's not necessary to ground balance in this field, it's almost bang on without ground balancing.
      I should have for the sake of the video though.

      with out GB machine's might be way out of searching the ground, if they was all set to same GB which i doubt they would all be, then that would be a fair one, cheer's for doing it though, even each machine still lack's for what we need, hammie's and all those good thing's down 8" plus we can not even see.

      +ctx3030tv he`s a pro, he does`nt need to GB lol

    Tom just seen this its a bit unfair for the deus your down on coil size your useing 18khz which is for small target near surface and are sat at a very stable 90 in 3.2 i can easy run at 95 all day long and you should try full tones no disc.

    @Sapper094 9 років тому +2

    The same goes for your T2, l just notice your user name lol.Obviously you`re going to be bias towards the CTX3030.What a load of crap.

    • @ctx3030tv

      Karl Tebb you make me laugh mate! clear signal on a cut quarter at six inch! love to see that....how about you put a video up proving it mate?
      im not slating any of these detectors they are the tools of my trade as a professional detectorist and iv used them all over the uk and in Europe.
      why would i be biased towards any detector if it wasnt the best?....i think the fact that i own all three shows that they all have their strong points!

    • @Sapper094
      @Sapper094 8 років тому +1

      +ctx3030tv yes, a clear signal of 6" on a cut quarter easily with my Deus using Garys full tone program, you`re not getting that? If not mate you`re doing something wrong, and you`ll be missing small Celtic silver. Make you laugh? And you call yourself a pro lol, you make me laugh.

      @Sapper094 8 років тому

      +ctx3030tv unfortunately l no longer have the Deus, but l`m pretty sure l was`nt the only one getting cut quarters at 6". At least you`re honest bud : ) l`ve been detecting 20+ years and would`nt claim to be a pro : )

    • @ctx3030tv
      @ctx3030tv  10 років тому +2

      OK that's fair enough that you think that, so for all the youtube viewers lets put that to the test.. i have 150quid to your 50quid, that the ctx and the t2 are deeper than your garret 150, where about you in the country? i will see you next weekend? unless you want to come to me?

    • @Sapper094
      @Sapper094 8 років тому +2

      +rabbit7 able don`t be ridiculous lol, the Ace 150 is a toy compared to any of these machines on test.

  • @ggoldgeezer
    @ggoldgeezer 10 років тому

    well unless you tell us the way each detector is set up ? it dont mean much without being rude your version of setting each detector up may well not be the best way lol seen a few of these tests and some of the detectors were very poorly set up

    • @ctx3030tv
      @ctx3030tv  10 років тому

      i do say in the video mate..... yes your right you can make a detector as good or bad as you like by changing the settings!
