- Here are the eight pens I have inked with the inks I picked in my Project Inkdown video. I'm so excited to try all the new pens - so far they are all amazing, and explore what all of my pen and ink pairings have to offer.

Hey everyone. Thank you so much for reaching out regarding the Namiki Vanishing Point - I just sold it. I really appreciate you!
You really did coordinate your inks with your pens this month! Who are you even? 😂 I’m actually loving your line up. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts.
Thank you for sharing! I have Robert Oster melon tea and I need to ink it up in something soon! I think melon tea may refer to the asian winter melon tea? But I may be wrong haha
Love all the color choices. Several of them I’ve put on my wish list. 😊
Oh, I would love to buy the vintage VP! I’ve been looking for one with that integrated clip style. It looks more like a decimo size, which is better for me than the modern VP! I could also trade you for a modern silver VP 😊
I sold it earlier this evening. Thanks so much for your offer!
@@seemownay - sorry I missed it - but I’m sure you made someone else happy 😊
Some nice combos this month. Would be interested in seeing a video on that pilot VP stub nib Simone. I hope that you are enjoying your pens and inks this month. Happy writing!
Will do!
Loving this color scheme, the last four inks speak a lot to me!
I've been meaning to pick up Jowo #6 F Flex but a bit wary of it being "likely" scratchy -- seems like I'll just need to try and not be afraid :)
Looking forward to how you think of all of them afterwards!
I'm using a very wet ink in the pen, so I'm not sure how it would perform with drier inks. But so far I think it's a lovely nib.
I would LOVE to purchase your green “old” VP!!! Green is my favorite color and silver clip?! YESSS!!!
Aubrey, please send me an email seemownay@gmail.com
@@seemownay I’ll do it now
Hallo!
Hallo Simone, you chose great pens for this month. It’s nice to see all your birthday pens!!
Please Simone, tell me, is the „special coated nib“ on the Lamy Lx feeling different from the normal Z50?? Does anyone know??
I‘m eying this pen for a while. Hab nen schönen Tag
I think the coated Lamy nibs are much smoother than the other ones. At least for me, they seem to perform better no matter the nib size. Hope that helps.
@@seemownay thanks a lot, now I need to consider that one. I trust your opinion and experience you have🤗
Somehow I rediscovered my Al-Stars late last year. And I think it’s like you said, normally the grip section would be too narrow (like the Pilot Elite wasn’t for me) but I‘m used to Lamy since school.
And they don’t dry out at all, even when they lay around for weeks (like they did in school- I never cleaned or cared for them and they just worked 😅)
@@seemownay ja, Dankeschön 🙏, that helped so much that I ordered yesterday the Lx- and because of the „weird news“ of Lamy and Mitsubishi…
Curious to know how you like it!
@@seemownay well- I have to admit, the Lamy Lx black nib (Z53) feels a bit smoother - here comes the but:
I manage to fix my old Accent (yay!) and put a new Z50 black on it. And it’s the same feeling!?!
So for new nibs I don’t need the more expensive Z53 in black- just buy the z50 in black ☺️
1997 is the year I graduated high school. Can you let me know a price?
Yes, send me an email seemownay@gmail.com
No offense intended, but I’m going to correct your spelling of Émeraude de Chivor just because it is my absolute favorite ink. I love all your videos and you are my #1 favorite fountain pen/ink You Tuber!♥️
I should have looked it up before writing it wrong not just this once. Thank you so much for correcting me.
