- This is the last video for the #31inks31pens31letters challenge that I did in May 2024. I'm swatching and inking pens on camera for the last two days of May, and then I'm sharing the inks and pens from this past week. And then I'll share my final thoughts on the challenge and why I feel so invigorated and content with my stash. I reduced my samples from 154 to 109 which makes me extremely happy and I'm looking forward to returning to the samples in September.

That Benu pen is so beautiful and I was happy they sold out but now they have more available. I just need to not look LOL. I have purchased Sailor Louisiana due to being born there however, not a fan of purple but I still had to have it. One day I will get Florida since I've lived hear close to 30yrs. So, I do purchase those for the same reason as you. Thank you for sharing.
I look at the 50 states the same as you. I want certain ones for memories, not colors. I want Texas, Colorado, and Georgia because I’ve lived in those places. I much prefer Nevada’s color to Texas’ but I gotta get Texas. 😂
Also, I learned something from this video. I had never removed a nib unit before and you just did it effortlessly while speaking and I was like 👀👀👀 is it really that easy? And now all the shimmer is out of my nib that was stuck and I’m so grateful!

I love how real you are especially your statement about your moratorium! Sounds like me I do try! I sent back my first Benu pen because the medium was way too broad for me. I wonder why they didn’t tell me I could just replace the nib? Because I really liked the body on my first one much better. Maybe they feel like that’s not something every newbie could handle. I look so forward to your videos. Keep going thank you. I bought a sample of Colorverse Tarheel, because I am from North Carolina, and as I suspected , I couldn’t even read it. It was too light totally illegible in a pen! 😔 add this to my bowl of unusable ink samples.
A lot of inks look so close to each other (different companies). Probably why I’ve slowed way down on buying bottles of ink. Pens, I’m trying not to buy any more until the SF Pen Show!
